From: chips@eskimo.com (:crp:) Subject: GH: Tues Update Aug 29 Date: Sat, 2 Sep 1995 02:04:53 GMT General Hospital Update Tues, Aug 29 1995 HEH, Heh, heh ... Tony, Bobi and Amy congregate at the desk. Tony is a very happily married man. Alan and Monica walk in off the elevator and Tony invites them over for a couple dinner. The other 3 are VERY resitant. THey start giving excuses when Lucy comes in from the elevator. Alan starts making his faces of despair, frustration and 'sheesh, what now?!' , which he maintains doing the rest of the day [very funny stuff]. Alan goes over to her and she says not to worry his secret is safe with her, at least for now. Unfortunately, Lucy being Lucy, she says the word 'secret' loud enough for Amy, as well as the others, to hear. After a little pow-wow with Lucy, Monica comes over and asks what the secret is. He gives a lamo answer, which she see right through. She is not happy, and lets him know it in no uncertain terms. Later on, Alan and Bobi are pretending to be reading charts and talking to each other [bobi is really short, not even up to his shoulder]. He admits that she was right and that he has to stop before something damaging really happens. In fact, they need to stop seeing each other all together. They are talking when Monica comes by and sees them. She is fuming and confronts Alan. Alan tells her that he was talking to Bobi about their mutual marital problems. Monica likes this even less and says Alan has no right to talk to Bobi about them. Bobi gets a phonecall and leaves at this point. Alan though, turns the tables on Monica - he reminds her that Monica used Bobi the last time they had problems, and he is just using Bobi as a sympathetic ear. Especially since Monica isn't there at all for him. They storm off in seperate directions. Bobi hangs up the phone just as the split occurs and is startled by Tony asking what that was all about. She tells him that its called tension and he should 'put his dinner idea on the back burner, so to speak'. He disagrees and says all the more reason the Q's should come over, they can see that marriages can get over very rough spots. Prince is visiting Stone. Stone wants to know how much the whole thing is costing. Prince is mum, but Stone insists - it costs so far 30G. Stone wants it to stop. Prince insists are providing the finances. Lucy walks in and Prince leaves. Back at the club Harry walks in (PR is doing fine, btw) and we find out that Prince has a clean money flow problem. Harry has a couple of ways of getting dough, but it can't really be done prudently - they need some way of showing where the money came from. Prince says just do it. Jason visits Robin, who is still waiting to find out her test results. He tells her he was foolish for not taking her when he had the chance 4 years ago. They exchange a peck. Kevin needs a way to infiltrate MadaM conferene. He thinks, in addition to everything else, that this conference is a way for MadaM to bonco Lucy. Problem is, they need someone with the neccesary education and smarts to do it, knows the background and be available by next week. Mac states the obvious, it will be difficult to find such a person. He then starts studying Kevin, who takes a few seconds to realize what Mac's train of thought is. Kevin says 'aboslutely' - we see him in front of a mirror with a dress on - 'NOT!' Cue-up "Dude Looks Like a Lady". Mac insists Kevin can pull it off, Kevin says he has no breasts, among other obvious problems. Mac keeps on going (breasts not a problem - use one of those that Fily is so wild about) and Kevin starts buying, 'till he again comes to his senses and says L I N E O F T H E D A Y "I look exactly like what I am. A 6'1" man wearing a dress. And I'm not even a very flattering one." Mac insists that Kevin can be trained by him, and that Kevin is just nervous about his first undercover gig. He starts going into the gritty details, and Kevin comes up with someones name they could use. Kevin is still reluctant, so Mac starts buttering him up, saying how good Kevin was at the ball ("Really?" asks Kevin) and how he would consider having Kevin as a partner in the PI biz. Kevin then says that Mac must mentor him, and join in the charade. They start going over the clothes, when the sales lady knocks on the door. Kevin starts going ballistic and Mac says to just act natural. Kevin goes bonkers at this. The sales lady is *very* supportive and makes some recommendations. Kevin eventually finishes up and heads to the hospital. At the reception area he sees Alan and , well lets try it this way: Kev: "You haven't seen Lucy she was supposed to meet me for lunch" Aln: "I've seen more than enough of Lucy for 1 day, but thank you for asking." Allan walks off with Kev looking confused at him. Amy: "You know anything about the secret of Lucy's?" Kev: "What!?" Bobi comes over and grabs his arm and drags him away Bbi: "I desperatley need to see you as soon as possible" Kev: "Eh, you, have a session scheduled after lunch. Umm, come early." Bbi: "Count on it" Kev: (quizically) "Has something happened?" Bbi: "Something always happens when Lucy sticks her nose where it doesn't belong." She walks off, Kev looks exasperated and turns to see Lucy coming. Kev: "Alright Lucy, where are your rubber bands and what have you done know?" [BTW: Alan is acting like a jerk again. He should just tell Monica.]
