                           General Hospital Update
                               Tue Aug 15, 1995

Well, it was a slow episode to me, so I'll be brief except for the good stuff.

Stone has his eyes examined for his blurry vision. The doctor gives him the
devasting news. He has a virus which is attacking his retinas due to his
decreased ability to fight off infections. Treatment has to start NOW in
order to save as much vision as possible. Stone is really ticked off and
refuses to cooperate at first. Alan comes and browbeats Stone. Kevin then
comes by and eventually Robin, who fully understands why Stone would be upset
at dying a part at a time.

Natasha and AJ bump into each other outside the PC Hotel. They exchange
unpleasantries. She denies any nefarious doings in the grant fiasco, and
insists that they would be good biz partners. As they part, AJ pays her a
backhanded compliment and she is not happy. Inside Boris is having problems
of his own as MadaM informs him that she's gotta go. Seems that she has this
big conference setup for high ranking women in biz and politics. Boris says
no problem - he'll pay for relocation costs to PC. MadaM realizes how much he
wants his plan to go all the way through (in the midst of the ensuing
conversation, Boris admits that he and Natasha do have this thing that they
don't really understand, but that they need each other).
MadaM leaves and Boris gets a call on his portable. He says 'Young Cassius
has a mean and hungry look'; Prince replies 'He thinks too much, such men are
dangerous.'; Boris says 'Whats up?' and Prince replies

      "First of all, I don't appreciate these prep school passwords."    Boris
reminds him that Shakepeare was a playwright for the masses. Prince tells him
that they have to meet in order to bring things up to date. Prince clinches
the deal by saying it has to do with Boris.

Natasha arrives. They bicker a bit about his standing her up the previous
night, but he is very apologetic and she has bigger fish to fry. He offers a
major apology, including cavier and champange but she takes a rain check. She
asks him if she wants to hear her latest plan. His eyes light up and he says
sure. (Unfortunately, we don't get to hear it.) He asks how he can help and
she tells him she needs the personnel. He tells her he is meeting with Sonny
so that should be no problem. Boris really likes the plan and compliments her
on it. She leaves to visit the Deception sauna.

At the sauna , Natasha and Lucy get into a hissing fight [sorry folks, i
realize that some people think that this was a hoot, but the only thing i got
out of it was how short Natasha is.]

Prince and Boris meet. Prince tells Boris that he wants to bring down Ned,
and after some bantering about Shakespeare and prep school, wants to know
what the soft underbelly is. Boris has no problems with that but wants to
make sure that Prince is not talking about shooting with real bullets. He
starts giving Prince a hassle, who tells him to get off his back. Boris asks
sarcastically if Ned is on Prince's back. Prince realizes that Boris doesn't
have any idea of what has happened and fills him in on everything. Boris is
very upset and nervous by it all and not happy. Boris tells Prince that Ned
gets what he wants. Prince says he will nail Ned first. Boris says be his
guest, but warns against going up against ELQ. He then confirms that the best
way to get at Ned is to split him apart from Lois. Unfortunately, Lois really
has Ned's full attention. Prince replies it just needs to appear that Ned is
fooling around. Boris likes that, and is reminded to get a name for Natasha.
Prince gives him a name from his old days and after Boris frets some more
about the cops, etc. Prince tells him off - Boris only got to where he is
thru inheritence and Prince's work- and not to sweat it. Boris calls Natasha
who is just full of venom towards Lucy and forgets about her plot against the
Q's until Boris reminds her and gives her the name.
