          General Hospital Update for Monday, August 7, 1995

Will Brenda Surpass Bobbie As the Become the Biggest 'ho-bag in Town?

Angry words flew after LeLee and Sonny ran into Mig and Brenda (both clad only
in towels) upstairs at Kelly's.  Among the highlights were Sonny and Mig
calling each other "pencil-dicks" in Spanish, Sonny calling Brenda a WHORE (in
English capital letters), and Brenda bending down to slap the teensy mobster's
face.  In a fantastic, Twilight-Zonish coincidence, the exact same scene was
being played out on the floor above them.  Dan Rooney and Jessica Holmes
(former D.A.) were returning from an out-of-town trip.  They rounded the
corner and ran smack into towel-clad Alex Garcia holding hands with Ruby
Anderson, in similar attire.  "You WHORE" thundered Dan at Ruby. "But you've
been off the show for over 10 years" she responded.   "Alex, how COULD you?"
screeched Jessica.  "Lady, who the hell are you?  And didn't you DIE a couple
of years ago?" asked the puzzled Latin hunk.  Curiouser and curiouser!
Later on outside the cafe, Mig held Brenda back from physically attacking
LeLee's after the fillies exchanged more bitter words.

Sonny's "Inner Child" Throws a Tantrum and Makes a Bum-Bum!

Sonny flared up at Mike, still angry after the towel scene at Kelly's.  Then
he promptly blabbed everything to Luke about "catching" Brenda and Mig doing
the deed [sheesh, how these men embroider the facts...he didn't "catch" them
at all].  Sonny also made a not-so-veiled threat against Brenda and Mig; Luke
managed to look surprised/worried/thoughtful/puzzled all at once.

Robin and Stone: what to do, what to do?
=======================================================================
The kids are frustrated that they can't show their love for each other in a
physical way [er, kids, your hands CAN be used for other things besides
playing video games!].  A new worry: Stone has blurred vision.

A.J. Quartermaine: Sensitive New-Age Guy
=======================================================================
AJ writes Stone a letter, apologizing for being such an insensitive clod.
Stone is touched.

Alan and Bobbie: Now THERE'S a Gruesome Twosome!
=======================================================================
Bobbie told Luke about her attraction to Alan and how it's mutual, etc.  Luke
advised her to keep mucho of distance between them, as their liaison would
mess up LOTS of lives in Port Chuck.  Later in the show, Bobbie agreed to have
dinner with Alan the next night [SUCH a 'ho].

Alan and Monica: yadda-yadda-yadda
=======================================================================
Alan is thrilled after Monica tells him that in addition to having breast
reconstructive surgery, she's decided to have a wallet surgically inserted,
you know..."down there", so that in the next decade when they finally DO have
sex he can come into money!  He's touched by her thoughtfulness.  He tells
her that he loves her just like she is and to stop using the "breast
reconstruction" thing as an excuse not to have sex with him.  She flares up,
then he flares up.  Duhhh...yawn.
