                           General Hospital Update
                                Tues August 1

Not much of real plot development today.

AJ is up and at 'em early in the morning at CSF. Keisha comes in and they
start going over applications. AJ mentions that he sent the bakery woman who
makes pecan pies to LUKE'S. Keisha wonders if they aren't doing a bit too
much. AJ says he will kick in his own money, but it won't be neccesary since
they will be very discremenating in who they choose. Keisha starts
complaining that it's almost only men on the list. AJ tells her to cut it
out, that she very well knows that the process was totally open. Keisha finds
a woman who wants to start a home companion service. AJ puts her on top of
the list since all it would require is a phone,desk and rolodex. Keisha
compliments AJ on his stick-to-it-ivness after being dumped on. AJ tells her
that everything is going to be quadrupled checked. Keisha promises to help.

Lucy comes into LUKE'S where Luke has just placed an order with the bakery
lady for 4 pies a day starting Labor Day Weekend. Lucy comes in and tells
Luke all about MadaM and cleansing her auru. She tells him about her first
attempt to forgive Boris and Kevin's arrival. He warns her to just keep away
from Boris but she says MadaM has been so right about everything. She then
gets the brilliant idea that MadaM could help L&L. Luke kibashes that. He
says he can respect a good con more than anyone and if MadaM's scham is
making Lucy happy and MadaM is making a few bucks, he wishes the two of them
happiness, just leave him out. Lucy sarcastically says she wishes Kevin would
be that understanding and Luke replies with

    "Probably just professional jealousy." He then tells her that she doesn't
need no stinkin' medium. Lucy thanks him for his compliments and then insists
that she believes that MadaM is legit, but will layoff Luke for now.

Prince comes out to the R's garden where Lily, looking very happy and fresh,
is soaking up the atmoshpere. Prince comments that she looks relaxed and
happy. He says that since Mr R has apparantly turned the corner he plans on
taking a plane back to Port Chuk. Lily says she is not thinking about going
back, at least not now. He goes huh? and she basically says be it ever so
crooked there is no place like home, and it is good to be away from McUgly.
She will return when school re-starts. She then asks Prince to stick around
with her and meet her son. He agrees and it happens. Juan has a shell and
Prince tells him to cherish it as a pet and good luck charm via a story from
his childhood. Juan then asks where McUgly is. He is told about the video and
he then asks Lily to give McUgly his shell. They all frolick in the park.
Back at the R mansion, they compliment each other on how they related to
kids. They then talk about how they dealt/deal with relationships of family,
friends and lovers. Prince admits [in a round about sort of way] that he has
been unreasonable towards Mike, especially after Mike took the bullet. He
claims to be super impressed with Lily's ability to relate back to her
father. She tells him that she did it for herself and not Pops.

L&L, in seperate places, day dream about the events that transpired since
Gene Francis re-upped.
