From: U14780@uicvm.uic.edu Subject: GH: Update for Fri 07/28/95 Date: Sun, 30 Jul 1995 19:42:17 CDT GH Update for 07/28/95 By John R. Andrews, UIC Scene 1 Luke visits home and strikes up a card game with Lucky despite Laura's admonitions. Scene 2 A few of the Q's lunch when Ned appears and hauls AJ off to a TV interview. Scene 3 Lucy dines with Kevin, and they mindlessly banter about her interviewing Deception photographers. Eventually, the subject of Madame Maia and Damian comes up, and Kevin once again insists that Lucy promise not to see Damian again. She does. Scene 4 Lucy comes to Damian's apartment blindfolded so as not to "see" him as promised. Scene 5 Felicia tells Mac she's going to visit Stone and at the same time just happen to rifle Sonny's place for incriminating evidence. Just in case she can't find some, Mac lends her his L.A. Police Department Crime Scene Procedures manual. Scene 6 Lucy blunders blindly around Damian's apartment as she chews him out for leaving the message on her answering machine knowing Kevin would hear it. Scene 7 Laura returns home to find Luke playing cards with Lucky. Luke tells her he wants Lucky to be able to visit him at the club. She says no, nyet, nein, iie, non, nil, nada, off, 0, false, zip and he gets angry at her indecision. Scene 8 While the Q's watch at home, Ned and AJ get interviewed on TV. Ned sweet talks and actually defends AJ and publicly refuses to let him resign, but privately off camera, he tells him not to screw up again or else. Scene 9 Luke and Laura continue to argue heatedly. She tells him to stop playing superhero because real world violence isn't a bunch of POWs and KABOOMs. He is insulted at the implication that his feelings for the kids aren't as deep or valid as hers. When she orders him to leave and stomps upstairs, he follows her. Upstairs, she locks the door, but he breaks it in to which she dryly remarks, "You could have knocked." He tells her he loves her and she loves him. As he tenderly caresses and nibbles her neck, she says no, no; however, after a few more nibbles it becomes yes, yes. [Please folks, let's not see any posts about how this was tantamount to date rape or spousal abuse or Luke's old character coming out again, or he was exploiting her because he knew she loved him and wanted to make love.] Scene 10 The still blindfolded Lucy inanely chats with Damian and gets his dubiously reliable promise leave her and Kevin alone. Scene 11 Katherine takes her usual place at Mac's bar and sexily describes a picnic scene to Mac who spills his lemonade listening. Mac: "Are you coming on to me again?" Katy: "No, but if I were you wouldn't have to ask." Mac: "Well if you were how would you go about it? Just so I'd know." She suggests that she could show up in just a trench coat at rush hour and flash him or they could make love on the bar. He asks what makes her think he's interested. [Ya, right.] Scene 12 Felicia visits Stone; She says I care; they care; everyone cares; blah, blah. Scene 13 Luke and Laura stir to life after a roll in the sack. She says she didn't intend for it to happen. He says baloney that was a follow me up the stairs stomp for sure. Finally, she relents and says Lucky can visit the club as long as she knows where he is. Scene 14 Mac tells Katy men don't necessarily like to be used. [Ya, but the operative word is necessarily.] Just then Lucy strolls in and tosses a few words at Katherine until Damian comes in and Katy joins him. They agree to meet later. When Damian kisses her goodbye, Lucy picks up on Macs slightly jealous stare. Scene 15 When Stone heads off for a nap, Felicia begins to search the place for some evidence. Unfortunately for her, Luke chooses that moment to return and catch her crawling along the floor.
