From: njs@lhdsy2.lahabra.chevron.com (N.J.Spera) Subject: GH: Update, Wednesday, July 26, 1995 Date: 27 Jul 1995 15:27:36 GMT GENERAL HOSPITAL Wednesday, July 26, 1995 Today's Stories Duck Under the Covers Under One Roof MakeMEIll and Brainless Duck Under the Covers --------------------- Lucy awakens to find Sigmund waddling on the covers at the bottom of the bed. Lucy realizes they forgot to feed Sigmund. When Sigmund won't go away, much to Kevin's dismay Lucy puts Sigmund under the covers, between them. After Lucy has given in and fed Sigmund she and Kevin snuggle as he tells her how much he missed her in NY, so much that he saw her face on billboards and in boutiques. Lucy is about to shed tears. Everything is going in the right direction until the phone rings. Even leaving it to the machine, the mood is spoiled when it's Damian leaving a message thanking Lucy forgiving him. Damian goes on to make disparaging remarks about Kevin which of course get under Kevin's skin despite Lucy's attempts to convince Kevin that's just what Damian wants. Kevin gets dressed. He's off to find Damian. Lucy is unable to stop him even tempting him with making love. Kevin counters "There is a time to make love and a time to make trouble, it's time for the latter." Kevin is off to confront Damian and mess up Damian's aura. When Kevin visits Damian (who acts surprised to see Kevin) Kevin tries to tell Damian he (Damian) is a fool for trying to manipulate Lucy and for trying to break up Kevin and Lucy. Damian thinks Kevin is talking about the phone call but no, Kevin is referring to the Nurses Ball. Damian thinks Kevin is imagining Damian is trying to come between K&L but Kevin says he know Damian is. Kevin warns Damian that Kevin and Lucy are onto Damian and that Damian should find another patsy. When Kevin has gone Damian has one of his evil grins on his face. Under One Roof -------------- The Hardys and Justus return from their picnic with Tommy all set to play more soccer, in the house. He wants to continue playing with the adults, all of who are vying for his affection as Justus notes. Tommy wants his father to stay but both Tom and Simone veto that idea. Then Tommy wants to stay with Tom for the night. Simone agrees and Tommy drags his father mout to Tom's apartment without Tommy kissing Simone goodnight. Justus kisses her instead. Simone is tense, despite locking the door so Tom/Tommy won't surprise them. Then there's the round of turning the phone off and back on. Simone is definitely distracted and is even more so when they hear Bobbie calling to Tom that Steve has called Tom her phone, should she have Steve call Tom. Tom says yes...and Steve calls Tom. He's just checking to see if Tom is settled in. Tom answers "We are" leading to Steve learning Tommy is staying overnight at Tom's and that Tom's relationship with his son is getting better. A telling remark is after an exchange about Steve not backing Tom at GH, Tom says he was just joking and he's doing just fine. (Hmmm...) Downstairs Simone finally realizes she's jealous of Tom. Despite all her words about Tommy having a good relationship with his father she now realizes she doesn't want to share her son. [and folks...are those still her wedding rings she's wearing...if so...why hasn't she taken them off????] Justus has a solution. They can go to his place for the night. Simone agrees but only after leaving a note and taking her beeper. Back at Tom's Tommy has settled on Tom's couch and wants a bedtime story, a story about Africa, animals and the children. Tom tries to explain the geography of Rowanda and attempts to put into words that Tommy can understand the factions and politics the encountered and the choices he had to make in the camp. Tommy notices that Tom is crying and tells Tom that "Mommy says it's ok for boys to cry." He shows Tom how to rub his eyes to help. Tommy wonders if Tom will be ok. Tom says he will be fine but Tom's sad look as he kisses Tommy's head says otherwise. MakeMEIll and Brainless ----------------------- Time to bail for the faint of heart and those without a cast iron stomach! Outside Kelly's where Bobbie has brough Luke's laundry, Brainless and Migless walk up arm-in-arm, fresh from (no I can't repeat it). They're about to go in but all of a sudden Brainless feels funny..(and well you should)..Ruby usually can see right through Brainless. Brainless decides to go in and and while Ruby does notice Brainless is in a much better mood she isn't clued in even after Migless and Brainless show a few of their moves for the video. When their conversation starts to get intimate, they head upstairs to Migless' room, but do go separately. It's Migless who wants to make sure Brainless isn't trying to get back at Sonny. Brainless claims she's an adult and knows what she wants. However enough "pleases" get Brainless to go to her own room to think. Later Brainless is back. She has thought and she doesn't want to be alone. Sorry folks I refuse to even describe what happened next. Finally we see Brainless on Migless' back...as someone said...who sleeps like that? Brainless flashes back to steamy nights with Sonny and finally gets up and heads off to the shower where she cries as the water steams around her.
