General Hospital Update for Monday, July 24, 1995

Best scene in Monday's show: Lucy having a cup of coffee with Sigmund. Man,
that is one BIG duck!

Madame Maia is on the phone with Damian, explaining how Lucy went off the deep
end with this "forgiveness" thing but Maia hasn't been able to convince her to
forgive the big D yet. Maia starts working hard on Lucy to "forgive" Damian
and says that she must take this "final step in her journey" in order to have
a really clean aura! Lucy eventually gives in and phones Damian, leaving a
message on his machine that she needs to talk to him. Of course he doesn't
call ahead and Damian drops in on Lucy later on. After some protracted
conversation, she forgives him. He wants to get friendlier but she resists
and asks him to leave. She tells him that she's going to avoid him in the
future. He's talking fast about auras and psychic bonds, etc., and standing
real close to her back, when Kevin strolls in. Of course, he gets the wrong
idea. Damian splits after thanking Lucy for phoning him. Kevin goes
ballistic when they're alone and says he feels betrayed because Lucy promised
never to call D again! He tries to leave; she grabs the front-door keys and
drops them into her off-the-shoulder peasant blouse. Next Kevin grabs the
emergency fire ladder-thingy and unrolls it out the window, planning to crawl
down. He's hunched over, preparing to get through the window, when Lucy
lunges at him, grabs around his waist, and throws him (face down) to the
floor. Then she leaps on his back, straddling him, and tells him he's not
leaving her while he's angry and they've got to talk things out. He struggles,
ineffectually, and manages to wind up on his back with Lucy straddling his
pelvic area [how convenient]. She apologizes, and he rises to the occasion,
forgiving her and kissing her.

Bobbie is showing Doc Tom around "his" apartment at the Brownstone; he
mentions that it was Scott's old apartment and wonders if anyone's heard from
him lately. Bobbie offers Tom some spare furniture from the attic; she's her
usual disgusting whore-like self and makes those googoo-baby noises she thinks
men find so appealing [did anyone catch her, hawking cosmetics on the Home
Shopping Club??]. Tom and Tommy bond when Tom offers the kid a pet snake
(Mortimer, call me Mort). Tommy makes Tom grimace when he tells him that he
should check out Justus' trouser snake...it's MUCH bigger than Mortimer! Tom
plays dirty pool when he manipulates the kid into asking Simone if "daddy" can
come with her and Justus on a picnic! Simone relents, much to Justus'
frustration/anger. He knows that Tom is using Tommy to horn into his relation-
ship with Simone. Also, he's hacked off that Tom has planted the soccer
"seed" in Tommy's head before Justus can initiate the kid into the wonders of
baseball. Simone reassures him that she's got a handle on everything and
she's still planning on divorcing Tom's ass and hooking up with Justus.

Brenda goes to Sonny's apartment to pick up the rest of her clothes. It's a
day when Sonny is usually gone so she figures she's got a clear field. Wrong!
He's in the apartment, packing a suitcase. They have a few words then she
asks him where he's going. He goes ballistic on her, yelling about Garcia,
and they escalate into another major fight. She tries to hold onto him as he's
stalking out the door but he shakes her off. Alone, she fantasizes about the
good times she shared with the mini-mobster. Then she drags her stuff over to
Kelly's, where she runs smack into LeLee. With Ruby standing guard, LeLee
scuttles past Brenda. Then Ruby tells Brenda that LeLee is going to Puerto
Rico to visit her "sick" father. Slowly, the lightbulb comes on over Brenda's
head. To confirm her worst suspicions, she phones Mike and he inadvertently
spills the beans about Sonny's travel plans to PR. Brenda hangs up and starts
to whirl around Kelly's, building up a head of steam. Miguel wanders in and
Brenda unleashes a tirade against LeLee. He agrees with her, tells her he's
not surprised at LeLee's actions, and says that they are fortunate to be rid
of the teensy terror and Lil. He tells Brenda they've got to get on with
their own lives. "But how do you live with the pain" asks Brenda?
