Geeze, I'd better get to this before hip1 gets my job! (NICE update!
Especially the Ick-L stuff!)

THE WINDS OF CHANGE BLOW IN PORT CHUCK

STONE: Comes into Doc Kev's office really psyched, happy. If attitude is
90% of the medicine, this boy is hardly sick. Kevin shows him colored
plastic sheets to put over the page (and to watch 3D movies by!) and they
hold the words down. This is, according to Kevin, "scatopic light
sensitivity therapy." Stone can read numbers correctly! Things couldn't be
better!
Alan knocks. The test results are in and Stone's T-Cell count is
back to 80. (by Alan-Math, perhaps 60%! No, he didn't say it, I did.)
This could actually be good news, the last-ditch effort of the virus to
rise above the medication (but Stone knows who wins this fight in the
end.) Alan wants to have him take 3TC. Stone is flattened. He goes
back home and is deeply discouraged. Things couldn't be worse. He does
show Robin the "magic" of the plastic sheets.

THE CHARLES STREET FOUNDATION: Boring and Nastysha, I mean Boris and
Natasha, oops, Damian and Katherine, are plotting, for a change, outside
the Outback. KatyBelle has very little interest in Damian's successes
with Lucy, but has set her own plot in motion with an anonymous letter to
Tom about the dubious matching grant ELQ and the CSF got. Tom reads the
letter and calls Simone and asks her a few questions about the
Foundation, then decides to go talk to Justus. Hey, Justus's Dad could
be blackmailed, perhaps son will follow in his footsteps.
At the Foundation, Keesha is interviewing a computer-store-owner
wannabe. AJ is psyched. This charity stuff is heady. Later, AJ talks
to a lady who wants money for fabric to make children's clothes. He
talks to her about incorporating. Justus asks Keesha "Have you been
slipping AJ compassion juice?" and decides maybe he doesn't have to
watch his back ALL the time with his cousin. Things couldn't be better.
Tom comes in. He asks AJ who is responsible for the grant
application? AJ is certain it's all legal, but Tom asks about the
ethics. Things couldn't be worse.

BRENDA: Comes bouncing into L&B, happy happy. Everything's cool. Ned's
waiting there for her with bad news. Sonny *is* involved in the Mob.
Brenda tries to deal with Ned's betrayal, Lois comes in and listens to
the tape and tries to deal with Ned's betrayal AND Sonny's betrayal, and
Brenda is devastated. Ned wants to wire her (is THIS legal? Even in PC?)
and send Sonny to jail. Lois wonders if she has "sucker" written on her
forehead. She's furious with Sonny. Brenda looks sick, Lois unhappy,
and Ned tries to look concerned, but "smug" breaks through a bit.
Brenda goes to Luke's and asks Sonny why Lily was so upset at the
picnic? Sonny says her father is in the hospital, and then he can't help
himself, he lies, saying it's pneumonia. [Why, Sonny? You could have told
Brenda he'd been shot, she probably would have been glad to hear it after
that chase in Puerto Rico!] Brenda asks one more time why Lily was so
upset, and Sonny tells her "you just missed Robin." Brenda knows he's
lying and evading. Later, she is sitting at the table brooding, and Mike
comes over, assumes it's his no-'count son, and hugs her. Things
couldn't be worse.

ROBIN: After Damian leaves, KatyBelle stays gloating over her breakfast.
Mac comes by and talks to her, and apparently slips something into her
coffee, as the KatyBlah we've come to know and hate is replaced by
someone who looks just like her, but who thinks of other people for a change.
Robin, who seems to be the only person in town who still likes
Sonny, tells him she's glad he's Stone's friend. Depressed Stone comes
in and he and Robin go look at pretty colored plastic. Then she's on her
way into the Outback and the Katherine Lookalike corners her. The
Doppelganger talks to her about Mac, how he's lost his family too, and is
afraid he will lose Robin, and in many respects already has, as she's so
invested in Stone. I'm sitting there with my mouth open wondering who
this is and what has she done with KatyBelle? [Maybe she's another of
Viki's personalities escaped from OLTL?]
Robin goes into the Outback and apologizes to Mac.

Totally depressing day, but things are moving right along.
