Update for General Hospital, June 28, 1995

A Picnic for Stone

Jason decides to have a picnic at the boathouse to boost Stone's
spirits.  Monica compliments Jason on his gesture.  The guest
list so far is Robin, Stone, Emily, Keisha and Jason.  A.J.
decides to attend the picnic to 'make up' to Stone.  Lucky calls
Emily to tell her about his upcoming camping trip and he
wants to stop by the Quartermaine mansion to see Raoul.  Emily
invites him to the picnic, after seeking permission from Monica.
Although Monica assures Emily that she doesn't need permission to
invite her friends over, Emily politely tells Monica that her
mother said that it was always polite to ask first.

Miguel Morez, Music to File By

Miguel walks in on Brenda dancing to his music while filing.
Brenda comments that music helps her get through whatever
'distasteful' task she's doing.  To her, music is the only escape
that isn't expensive, fattening, or illegal.  Miguel comments
that Brenda is trying to escape from more than 'filing'.  Miguel
comments on how uptight Brenda looked at the Nurse's Ball.
Brenda thinks Miguel can do better than Lily.  Miguel tells
Brenda that he has loved Lily for a long time and that he just
cant turn that off.  He realizes that he can't love Lily the way
she needed him to.  Brenda assures Miguel that his breakup with
Lily is just a blessing in disguise and that he can now totally
concentrate on his music and his hundreds and thousands of
screaming female fans.  Brenda suggests that they rehearse for
the video.  Lois walks in and gasps at the 'sensual' image they
project.  Brenda and Miguel assure Lois that they were just
rehearsing for the video.  Jason comes in and invites Lois,
Brenda, and Miguel to the picnic, but that there is going to be a
workout at the gym with Stone.  Miguel comments that he needs a
workout and goes to the gym with Jason.  Brenda tells Lois that
Sonny explained the 'Harry situation' to her the other day and
everything is fine.  Lois doesn't believe it.  Ned walks in and
Brenda tries to change the subject.  Lois tells her that Ned
already knows.  Ned tells Brenda that despite her explanations,
he still plans to keep a eye on Sonny.  To stop ensuing
arguments, Lois recommended to Brenda and Ned that they stick to
the original agreement of giving Sonny some time.  Robin
arrives for the picnic;  Brenda leaves a phone message to Sonny
about the picnic so that he may drop by later.  "If the picnic's
for Stone," she tells Ned and Lois, "he should be there".

Luke Spencer, Camping Guru

Luke walks into Ruby's diner and complains to Ruby  about his
upcoming camping trip with Lucky.  Luke grumbles how the
separation is affecting him and the kids.  Ruby assures Like that
if Laura still loves him, give her enough space (rope) and she
may eventually pull him back into her life.  Lily, who has been
sitting in the diner, notices Sonny walking outside and rushes
out to meet him. Sonny and Lily discuss Stone's medical
condition.  Sonny comments that although  he's faced death
without blinking an eye, it's harder watching someone you love
die...Lily sympathizes with Sonny.  "Today is all anybody has",
she tells Sonny, "use it."

The Manly Workout

Stone, Miguel, Jason and A.J. work out lifting weights.  A.J.
freaks when Stone's sweat drips onto his forehead.  Jason assures
A.J. that he can't get AIDS through sweat.

Bobbie and the Book of Revelations

Bobbie arrives at Ruby's diner.  Luke tells her about the camping
trip and tells her he needs to pick up Lucky from the
Quartermaine mansion before Lucky develops 'conservative' values.
Bobbie tells Ruby about her 'foot in mouth' syndrome in the case
of Tony and Felicia.  Despite Tony's explanation of the
situation, Bobbie tells Ruby that she still feels jealous of
Felicia and wonders about Kevin's comment during therapy
regarding Tony's closeness with Felicia.

Have a Picnic, Do a Little Dance, Take a Swim

The picnic is almost in full swing.  Everyone is there except for
A.J. (for obvious reasons) and Sonny.  Keisha tried to give Jason
advice on lighting barbecue grills.  Brenda wonders why everyone
isstanding around and suggest they all dance.  Miguel and Brenda
are going through their video routine and are dancing at the edge
of the pool(?).  Sonny arrives at the party just in time to see
Brenda and Miguel fall into the water.  A dripping wet Brenda
greets Sonny and he suggests that he cover herself because of her
wet t-shirt.  They start to argue and Sonny leads Brenda away
from the picnic crowd into the boathouse.  Miguel starts to
intervene, not liking the way the Sonny was treating Brenda, but
Stone advised him against making such a move (smart man).  In the
boathouse, Sonny explains to Brenda his reasons for blowing up.
He didn't like the way other guys were looking at her, wanting
her as much as he does.  Brenda placates Sonny.  They lock the
door of the boathouse and .....well, you can imagine what happens
next...
