Daily Updates
From: SHCV34B@prodigy.com (C Rp) Subject: GH: Update Tue 6/27 Date: 2 Jul 1995 19:59:21 GMT General Hospital Update Tuesday, June 27 Well lets see if this Prodigy Internet Gateway really works, as my Internet provider had a hard crash and still hasn't recovered as of Sunday morn. This update does contain some lines from the Prodigy SoapOpera Daily. Jason, with his I am holy act really up, comes by to visit Stone. Sonny is very protective and won't let Jason in ('you never came before') untill Stone says it is OK, he is curious to hear what Jason has to say. In short, Jason invites Stone to be his weightroom partner in the Q mansion. [i've been paying attention to the acting done by Steve Burton. He must be paying ABC to keep McUgly so people wont notice his limited ability in portraying Jason] Robin visits Fily and apologizes to her and tells her that Fily's advice was fine and not at fault. She leaves Fily and Tony enters to find Fily crying. She explains about Stone having AIDS and that he and Robin didn't always go the safe sex route. As Tony takes Fily in his arms, Bobi enters. She stops in her tracks when she finds Fily in her husband's arms. She then rants, in her still hoarse voice, about what an idiot she has been for not seeing before hand that Tony & Fily were merging. They claim their innocence and Tony asks to be left alone with Bobi. He starts verbally attacking Bobi but she cuts him off and says he can't foist off his constant visits with Fily as looking after his brother's family. He then tells Bobi about Robin & Stone. Luke, who has excellent rapport with LesLu and holds her the whole scene, tells Laura that Stone has AIDS and that they won't know if Robin's been infected for many months. This tragedy proves just how tenuous life is, and that convinces Laura that she must keep her kids away from Luke. Luke is not happy about this but agrees to see Lucky only on "safe turf." They both agree that a camping trip would fit the bill, but Luke is not very happy. When Lucky comes home, Luke broaches the subject of a fishing trip and is somewhat taken aback by Lucky's enthusiasm. In a very round about way, he tells Lucky not to give Laura a hard time. Mac comes by the Spencer home and asks Laura how Robert would've felt and what any information she has about Mr Corinthos and what he was into. Laura, for some reason, plays dumb. She tells him that Sonny is probably devastated by Stone's condition. Mac says he is going to go after Sonny to do something acitive and to clean up part of PC. Laura keeps up the dumb game, which Mac doesn't really buy but can't do anything about. Mac leaves and Luara comes back into the living room where she can over hear Lucky talking to Foster. (During Lucky's mono, Gene Francis does a tremendous job in body motions and displays of exasperation, empathy & frustration.) Turns out that Lucky is not so thrilled about having to go across three state lines to go on a fishing trip to spend time with Luke. He tells Foster to keep an eye on things and under control while he is gone. On the other side of town, Sonny tells Harry that Brenda overheard them discussing fixing the horse races. Sonny was able to cover, but he warns Harry to keep a lid on all illegal activity while around Brenda. Harry says L I N E O F T H E D A Y "I don't suppose dumping her and getting a new woman would be an option." Sonny gives him one of those looks and Harry asks what does Sonny told her. He tells him the old friend routine. Harry asks how long does Sonny expect to be able to keep this up, and Sonny has no real answer. Lucy visits MadaM for a private session. MadaM starts off with Serena and how her birth was a deaparture for Lucy as it was basically altruistic. Lucy comments that it didn't start out that way, but things changed. MadaM then keeps going and then suddenly warns Lucy that her 'visions' have been known to be wrong on occasion. She then sees broken hearts of men unworthy of Lucy, to which Lucy comments that describes a lot of people including all her ex's. MadaM says it is the current one. She then puts on a show about how it is Ryan, Lucy says can't be since Ryan is dead, MadaM says it must be Kevin then who has the dark soul. She then abruptly stops and tells Lucy she did admit to being wrong some times. Lucy is upset and doesn't want to leave on such a dark spot but MadaM is drained by the bad energy. Lucy leaves behind a scarf. Lucy then goes to Kevin's office, who is watching and taking notes about one the first Stone training sets, which he turns off when Stone says something about living long enough. She wants to know if Kevin is interested how the MadaM session went. He says not unless she said anything about the Chief of Psychiatry job. Lucy didn't realize he was joking at first, then tells him how good MadaM is. She then asks if there is any possibility that Ryan is still alive. This sets Kevin off like a firecracker. Lucy gets upset as Kevin calls her gullible and the whole thing hogwash and she walks off.
