From: chips@eskimo.com (:crp:) Subject: GH: Tues 620 update Date: Thu, 22 Jun 1995 04:01:53 GMT General Hospital Update Tuesday, June 20 1995 OK, i admit it, i succumbed to the pressure; but i promise, i just went to the store to pickup some milk. I had no idea that the grocery store would have a special collecters edition of GH mag, featuring the whole history. Well, Brenda finally sees the light. Early in the morning, with their argument still hanging in the air, Sonny accepts a visit from Harry in the living room. The conversation has to deal with a messanger skimming some of the profits and Harry has come for instructions. Sonny says kid gloves, same as they did with Cusak's guys. Unbeknowest to them, Brenda has heard this conversation by the bedroom door. Sonny leaves and eventually Lois comes by. Brenda tells her what she overheard and Lois is tres upset, Brenda was already in tears. They talk themselves into maybe Brenda didn't quite get all the nuances and maybe Sonny isn't mobby. They don't really buy that argument and Brenda agrees to do some spying. Much later Sonny comes home and makes up to Brenda about their argument, he is unaware that she knows. By Fily, her mother is preparing some breakfast and stuff while Maxi is getting prepped up for the ball. Fily is mothering. Lucky [sheesh what a growth spurt, and no voice cracking! how did he avoid that?] comes by to do a maintanance call on the worms. Maxi fawns over him, and goes with Fily to watch him do his worm thing. Fily's mom hears a dog at the door and goes to see what is up. It's is Foster and Fily's mom says L I N E O F T H E D A Y "Hello, girl. Aww, your trying to tell me something." What follows is a hilarious scene with her, Foster and Tony, concerning dogs [if you don't know why this was so funny and such good writing, let me know. just keep in mind June Lockearts previous jobs]. Tony had come by to invite the whole gang to his and Bobi's table at the ball. He is in a very good mood, what with succesful surgery and all. An absolutely gorgeous looking Laura is folding laundry when Lucky comes back. He is bored already and Luara suggests he goto a soccer club. He strikes a vicious blow by saying she won't be able to get him out of the house like she did Pop. She is stunned and tries to talk to him, but he is full of anger and does some more verbal blows as Laura joins him in arguing. They part with an uneasy truce. Tony comes by a little later and sees Lucky practicing his dance routine for the ball. Laura comes down and Tony invites the whole Spencer gang to the table. A little earlier Tony told Bobi about his invites. At first she was disappointed but then she realized that the ball was hardly the place to have a quiet moment with him. Lucy is with Lois and Ned at the ball site, preparing and constantly saying how she wants this year to shatter last years memories. Her hair is in a pony tail [hey, it was important!] as she bustles around. Amy agreed to Lucy's request to be her changer again and checks out the plan. Lois leaves and somehow Boris's name came up. Then Boris arrived. The three of them have a nice little chat, where Ned learns of the Lucy & Boris duet for the ball. Amy comes by to tell Lucy there is a gap in the clothes plan, Lucy is shutting her out dealing with Boris and Ned and other things, so Amy grabs hold of Lucy's pony tail and pulls her away! Ned and Boris are then alone and have a chat about a boarding school class and their falling out [these 2 have terrific chemistry, whatever it takes, the writers should get them together]. Natasha came by, Boris dispatched her to the Grill, where using a delightfull southern accent she calls and orders 2 full tables and then proceeds to make some other calls to increase the ball's overhead. Lois 'visits' Ned in the Q mansion. She lets on that there is a problem with Sonny but won't say what exactly, though she does mention illegal gambling. Ned reminds her that since he is involved with L&B as hubby & artist and Sonny is in L&B, therefore the Q's and ELQ are also involved. So Ned has every right to know what is going on and to take actions. Lois keeps at him bay for now, but she fully realizes the situation's severity. -- =============================================================================== chips@eskimo.com Try the best Internet node in Puget Sound 367-3837
