Date: Tue, 20 Jun 1995 10:37:56 CDT From: U14780@uicvm.uic.edu Subject: GH: Update for Mon 06/19/95 Written By: kathy%gundog@lbl.gov (Kathy Ellington) General Hospital Update for Monday, June 19, 1995 The "Underpants" Update (I'll be brief!) for Monday's B-O-R-I-N-G show: At GH, we learn that Stone is responding to his AIDS medication (AZT); his T-cell count is up 25%. Alan is pleased with the state of his health. Bobbie, the whore, does what amounts to a public-service announcement/lecture about AIDS (yawn). Stone's also making progress with his dyslexia, much to Doc Kevin's delight. Mac runs into Stone at the hospital. Unkie is on his way to donate blood. He offers to give Stone a lift to the Outback Club after he's finished; Stone tentatively accepts. Later on, talking with Robin outside the Outback Club, Stone says Mac asked him about the disturbance during the prom night party. He told Mac one thing and Robin says she told him another; the real reason remains a secret from Mac, though. At the Q mansion, Emily wonders what to do with Mom's ashes. She wants to scatter them someplace special. Alan suggests they fly to Arizona and dump the stuff in the desert. Emily readily agrees. Monica chimes in that they can leave right after the Nurse's Ball. Emily blurts out "are YOU coming too?" then, seeing Monica's expression, quickly tells her that Paige would want her to accompany them so of course Monica is invited. Later on, Monica complains to Alan about Emily's distancing herself from her. Alan thinks that if Emily readily accepted Monica as a "mother substitute" she might think she was being disrespectful to Paige. "Or maybe she's just a coldhearted little bitch" intones Alan thoughtfully. In the Versailles Room of the Port Chuck Hotel, Lucy and her crew are setting stuff up for the Nurse's Ball. Lucy gets a attack of bad vibes and phones Madame Maia, who agrees to help out. Maia tells Lucy that she, herself, is the cause of the vibe attack and that Lucy needs to loosen up in a bubble bath or something. Kevin-bunny wanders in and gets to meet Maia. When Maia sees him she blurts out "neither you nor your brother knew the other's heart!" Lucy is stunned at this "insight"; Kevin remains calm. He splits to check out the wine list, per Lucy's request. Alone, Maia tells Lucy that she sees a dark cloud over Kevin and that he will be part of her choice when she comes to that big "Fork in the Road" in the future. At the Bradley Ward house, LeLee is taking care of some of the kids. A.J. blows in to give Keesha some papers concerning the Charles Street Foundation. Keesha's not home but May-Mae takes the stuff. A.J. chats with LeLee and finds out about her breakup with Senor Ick. He whips into action and invites her to the Nurse's Ball; she accepts. A.J. leaves and zips over to the Outback to tell Cheetah the good news. Mig is surly and upset but A.J. claims he's only telling him about bringing LeLee to the Ball to forestall any macho outbursts from the surly Simian like the one that ruined Brenda's birthday party. Mig tells A.J. that he doesn't give a rat's ass what LeLee does or with whom. A.J. goes home after that and runs into Jason, who is upset that big brother moved in on LeLee so quickly. end end send comments, questions, and flames to kathy%gundog@lbl.gov end end
