                           General Hospital Update
                              Tues, June 13 1995
Hmm, the Boris and Natasha are starting to look better and better ...

Lucy is up early and starts puttering around looking for a tape. She makes
enough noise that Dok wakes up. She tells him she is looking for the last
Serena tape. He had put it in a safe place so that he wouldn't accidently
tape anything over it [HELLO!? You see, there is the little tab,...oh never
mind.] They watch it together. Dok is sympathetic but warns Lucy.
Lucy visits MadaM, who has been excellently briefed by Boris. She throws
enough vague-itites about Serena and her where abouts to satisfy Lucy. She
also "sees" that the whole Serena incident was 1 time when Lucy did something
halfway altruistic [is that an oxymoron?]. Lucy is hooked.

Monica comes in to Brave1's room and puts the covers over a still sleeping
Brave1, who is holding her late mother's bathrobe. Monica goes down to a
continental breakfast in the den, where she catches up with AJ. She talks to
AJ about Brave1's reactions and activities. AJ suggests it might be a good
idea for Brave1 to get out of the room and rejoin her life. Monica is tempted
by this idea, but then thinks it might be best to let Brave1 find her own
confidence and comfort time, at least for now. AJ goes up to leave her a bit
of breakfast. She is awakened and AJ tells her whenever she is ready he is
all set to provide her with the activities he had promised her. She says
thanks, but not yet. He says ok. Later Monica comes back in and Brave1 is up
and out of bed. They talk a bit about heavy philosophical life things.

Brenda gives Sonny a cool morning shoulder. They talk and Brenda tells him
that the Mcugly and Sonny tiff was the fault of both parties. They decide to
try to see thru this 'storm'. Brenda goes off to see Robin. Robin is
despondent and down in the dumps. Brenda naturally asks if the problem is
with Stone and that whole thing. Robin wishes it was just that. No it is
                        L I N E    O F   T H E   D A Y
                        "My prom outfit."   Brenda is relieved, this is
something she can help with. Robin is, to be sure, a bit worried about the
prom and her feelings about the future, knowing what she does. They set the
groundwork for the shopping spree and Brenda leaves.

Stone and Robin talk.

AJ comes in and Keisha tells him that CSF got an envelope, a large one, from
WashDC. She was too chicken to open it. AJ joshes with her and opens the
envelope, looks thru the contents and tells her they got the grant. They
start celebrating and hug each other, then start making phone calls to all
the principles to give them the good news. After the calls, they keep
celebrating by doing some fun ballroom dancing. Of course, Jason enters at
this point and his eyes turn green (to make this clear, there was no tension
between AJ & Keisha, they were just acting out of business joy). Justus
[please see my post titled GH: Justus - further proof Mcugly is awfull]
arrives and says they gotta arrange a press conference for the next day. He
leaves and Jason starts talking about a celebratory meal. AJ totally agrees
and includes himself (again, not as part of a play on Keisha) into the plans.
Jason is not very happy, Keisha is somewhat oblivious.
