It's the June wedding day, so not much plot development. Nedly (that's MR.
Weasel to you!) and Lois were married the first time on June 14 of last year.
Which date will they celebrate, soap-wise? (Monica and Alan and their "25th"
is why I ask. I had one-a those 5 years ago, but there were no little
detours of divorces and affairs and extraneous children and not to forget
SOtime. It was Hard Work when I did it.)

OK, plot first. Mike comes into Luke's. He's signed himself out, is ready
to go, rarin' to work, and where is Sonny? Mike has a few words for
him. He (Mike) is all geared up to get in his (Sonny's) face. The
Bosnian war and the Russian earthquake are NOT Mike's fault, no matter
what Sonny says. Lucky comes in and Mike makes himself scarce. Lucky is
a kid on the edge. He and Aunt Bobbie can share a room at the funny farm.
Lucky misses his dad and he's really feeling responsible for the wimminfolk.
But he has school, and sometimes at night he goes to sleep, so he's
falling down on the job. [Me, I was ready to slap Luke silly at this point.]
Lucky wants Luke to come home, and when Luke says he can't right now,
Lucky blames Laura, which enrages Luke. Luke tells Lucky it'll work out
and Lucky points out that Luke keeps saying that, and it doesn't.
Mike and Luke discuss Lucky and Luke realizes out loud that in
reality, no matter how competent Lucky is, or how proud Luke is of him,
that 12-yrs-old is really still a kid.

(minor wrench-in-works) at the Wedding, Mac offers Robin a post-Prom
party at the Outback.

THE WEDDING
At the church, AJ is wondering out loud if Lois came to her senses and
Jason suggests he not gloat around Ned. Lila sends Edward to find out
what's going on. Meanwhile, in the Cerullo's kitchen, Danny is being
magnanimous and will forgive Lois. He is simply not hearing anything but
the rocks in his own head clattering together. He picks Lois up
preparing to do the caveman routine (why didn't Gloria pop him with her
pasta machine, eh?) and runs into Ned at the door. Both men, confused,
shake hands, and Lois panics because Ned is seeing the gown before the
wedding. Gloria introduces the men, and Danny says "so this is
the weasel?" and Ned says "that's MR. Weasel to you!" Eventually Ned
comes to himself and orders Danny to put his wife down, and Danny gets
all confused, not realizing Lois was already married. Ned finally tells
Danny to remember the t-shirt message "If you love someone, let them go."
(I was relieved that he didn't finish it with "if they come back, good,
if they don't, hunt them down and kill them.") This percolates through
Danny's addled brain, and he starts to cry. Lois feels sorry for him,
but Ned grabs her off. Gloria leaves, too, telling Danny to eat whatever
he'd like out of the fridge and be sure to lock the door when he leaves.
The limo is proceeding through the streets when it's blocked by a
man fixing his car in the precise middle of the street, so Lois and Ned
get out and walk the remaining block, greeting neighbors (Claire Labine)
en route. Lois explains that "this is what NORMAL people call a
neighborhood." At the church door, she ascertains that there are no
second thoughts, and in they go. Ned scoots to the front, and announces
that indeed there will be a wedding. Lois tells Brenda what happened and
Gloria rushes off to get everyone out of the ladies' room. They
checklist everyone, but where's Carmine? In he comes, huffing and
puffing, too many BlueHoos to walk comfortably. Jason comes for Gloria,
and the wedding proceeds. Oohs and ahs. Alan waves at an obviously
delighted Emily. Carmine hands Lois over in a definitely traditional
wedding. (We had to put up with seeing Miguel and Lily have premarital
counselling, surely some went on with N&L as well.)
Marymae sings "Panis Angelicus" which must have frosted her Baptist soul,
but the Recessional was the "Ode to Joy" sung Gospel-style, which
probably made her feel better. Robin's hair was gorgeous, best 'do on
the set. The twins actually behaved, probably because Mom was glaring at
them. Traditional vows, no surprises. (But Rena Sofer, being Jewish,
didn't automatically cross herself at "The Name of the Father", and I,
being Catholic, expected it. The whole Cerullo side should have been
crossing themselves, it's automatic.)
	A beautiful wedding.
At the reception, Brenda toasts the couple. Carmine welcomes Ned
and his family to the "Quartermaine-Cerullo clan." Edward starts his
speech with "Blow it out your ear." which is the first thing Lois said to
him, and from that day on he'd have married her himself. Lila glares at
him till he remembers he's already married. And despite all evidence to
the contrary, they really don't indulge in bigamy often.
The couple has their first dance. Sonny tells Brenda that Lois
wasn't half as beautiful as she is (he's really coming along, our
Sonny!) Robin says it's the most romantic wedding she's ever seen,
except for her mom and dad's. Stone remarks on the solemnity of it.
Danny appears, having had more than pasta. Gloria tries to kick
him out but he's there to apologize and to play his *accordian* (doesn't
it just figure?) and serenade the happy couple with "Lady of Spain."
They cut the cake and feed each other (Danny is STILL playing "Lady of
Spain.")
Ned and Lois leave in a hail of confetti, and the party winds
down. Emily is suffering a little letdown and Alan reminds her she still
has the train ride home to look forward to. Lila compliments Gloria on
the cake and remarks on how tired she is. Edward and Carmine light
cigars and are all buddy-buddy. We get a panoramic view of Brooklyn.

Very satisfactory day.
