General Hospital Update for Friday (4/21)

When the updater (John Andrews) viewed last Friday's GH show, it had major
parts missing due to updates on the Oklahoma tragedy. Yes, GH had been gutted
as expertly as a snooty French waiter named Jean-Michel might eviscerate a
platter of Truit Bleu! So, for your reading pleasure, we present a poor
attempt to copy John's inimitable and vicious Friday style.

"The dog ate my update" ... John Andrews

May-Mae and her group of aging hipsters lay down some tracks at L&B Records.
Lois and Ned talk her into belting out some tunes at their wedding. They
set the date for the last Sunday in May. Ned wants to rent the entire Coney
Island amusement park for the reception but Lois reminds him that her Pop is
paying. They argue about splitting the costs but Lois says that Carmine needs
to keep his pride. Ned decides to hire a private railroad car to get the
guests out to Long Island. It'll be a hard-partying railroad car, surely
Carmine can't complain about that, can he?

Justus invites a willing Simone to his (fire) house for some down-home cooking.
He's making pork chops [extremely appropriate, don't you think?]. They get
caught up in dancing close and the chops go up in flames. After all that slow
dancing, Justus' own pork chop is a bit singed, too.

Edward is out for the evening so Lila has Emily phone Lucky and invite
him over to play with the puppy. Because of his heritage, the kids want to
naming the puppy something French ... so they name him Raoul [huh??].

When Mary Mae finally leaves the gate house whom does she run into but
Edward. He noticed her car and would like to take a stroll. Maybe
another time...but what Edward really wants to talk about is Jason and
Keesha. That too will have to wait for another time.

Luke and Mike, who have donned some leftover costumes from Ned's "Pirate"
sketch earlier in the week, are driving the Deception truck out of town.
Luke's plan is to stop at some diner and leave the truck while they ostensibly
get some grub. That will give Skully's bad boys a chance to rip off the truck
and nobody gets hurt. They find a diner and pull over; however, by the time
they turn off the engine and get out of the truck, Skully's guys are holding
guns on our hapless duo. What now?

Stone still feels lousy. Sonny tells him to get some more rest so the kid
goes upstairs and practices his reading skills. Robin, eager for some more of
Stone's home cooking, comes over to cheer him up. She arrives at his door
wearing nothing but some cheerleader's boots and holding a gallon of ice
cream! [just kidding folks; she was really wearing penny loafers and waving
a bottle of Mazola oil!] The kids moose around a bit and wind up having sex
again [condom or not? We don't know]
