                            GH Update for 04/14/95

Scene 1
Miguel balks at Lois' song choice for his video. He says it's not in his heart
anymore. Brenda asks if the problem is really about him and Leelee. On cue
Leelee bursts in excited to show Miguel the pictures of Juan she just received.
Scene 2
Edward accuses Ned of fiddling while ELQ burns. A big takeover bid seems to be
falling through due to Ned's inattention. Ned counters by saying the deal will
be completed that day.
Scene 3
Jason and Keesha relax on route to Paris aboard the ELQ jet.  [two more members
in the "Mile High Club"?]
Scene 4
Katherine saunters into Luke's and promptly buttonholes AJ.  She pretends she's
interested in a job with the Charles Street Organization.
Scene 5
Alan bellies up to Bobbie at the bar. She asks why he's so angry with Monica.
He says he feels pushed aside by her preoccupation with Paige, Emily, and now
the wellness center.  Bobbie tries to defend Monica yet still be supportive of
Alan.
Scene 6
Felicia looking disgusting disheveled tends to the baby. Tony drops by with
Lucas and a pizza. As usual, Tony fawns over the brat.
Scene 7
When Leelee tries showing Miguel all the pictures of Juan, he tells her he's
busy working. She takes umbrage, i.e. offense, annoyance, displeasure, with his
attitude and starts hurling Spanish insults at him. [I don't speak Spanish, but
I think it included words like, padre, perro, madre, and puta].  Brenda tries
to mediate, but Miguel blows her off and storms out.  Leelee again tries to
back out of the video, but Lois refuses to hear of it; however, Brenda keeps
trying to get rid of her.  After Leelee leaves, Lois turns on Brenda.
Scene 8
Ned gets down to some real hardball business dealing with the CEO of the firm
ELQ wants to buy out. Ned shows him the proverbial stick [my what a big stick
you have, Ned] before offering him a golden carrot to sign on the dotted line.
Scene 9
As they fly over "The City of Lights," Jason in a playful mood empties the ELQ
jet waste tanks on the Eiffel Tower. "That'll teach those snobby froggies," he
snickers.
Scene 10
Lois chews out Brenda for her attitude towards Leelee and tells her she's the
boss, and she wants Leelee in the video, so Brenda better get over her
insecurities. Brenda agrees, but reserves a big I told you so if Leelee screws
up the video.
Scene 11
Outside the gatehouse, Miguel tells Leelee since they can never have Juan why
keep dwelling on him.
Scene 12
Ned delivers on his promise as the CEO signs the take over papers much to
Edward's delight.
Scene 13
Katherine continues to manipulate the hapless AJ, and when she gets him to
leave the table to get her a drink, she snags the Charles Street financial
report from AJ's briefcase [and no one notices?].
Scene 14
Tony and Felicia lounge around comfortably. She asks him to be Georgie's
godfather, and he readily accepts.
Scene 15
On arrival in Paris, things immediately begin to go awry for the partying
Parisians. Their double room has become a single dive with no drinkable water.
In addition, outside their room people can be heard shouting and fighting. At
first it seems a quaint adventure, but eventually Jason calls it quits and says
they're out of there.  [I'm relatively sure I stayed in that place when I was
in Paris years ago. Only, it wasn't as nicely furnished then as I recall.]
Scene 16
Back at Luke's, Chatty Kathy stashes the papers in her purse.  An oblivious AJ
takes off without noticing the theft.  Meanwhile, at the bar, Sonny hears from
the seemingly omniscient Harry about the drug shipment.
Scene 17
Ned arrives at home aroused by his corporate pillaging. Because his earlier
deal was described as "piracy" he fantasizes an entire "Pirates of Penzance"
scene with himself singing lead. [I can't really describe, nor would I want to,
this latest GH Fantasy Island out take.  Let me just say, you really had to see
Edward and Annabelle in pirate costumes with all the Q's in a pirate ship. I
would have been much more appreciative if they would have had Miguel walk the
plank into shark infested waters,]
Scene 18
Keesha balks at using Jason's money for a nice hotel, but he counters saying
that ELQ has a hotel in Paris where they can stay for free.  [why didn't they
stay there in the first place?] She is still reluctant until the sound of
breaking bottles is heard the hallway at which point Jason's logic becomes
unassailable. [Call me old fashioned, but this "pay my own way" thing is beyond
me. If some rich beautiful woman said to me, "Would you fly in my jet to Paris
and stay in my family's hotel and have sex with me? Am I going to say, "No,
sorry, I must pay my own way." Ya, right. I'm going to reminder her to bring
her American Express card. But as I said, I'm a bit old fashioned.]
Scene 19
Felicia says she'd also like Bobbie to be godmother. Tony tells her that might
be good for them.
Scene 20
Alan complements Bobbie on being a good listener and heads home.
Scene 21
Sonny tells Luke the shipment is arriving in PC from Louisiana tomorrow.  They
hope Joe will also have the hijacked Deception goods sent to PC as well. Sonny
is still adamant that Luke's choice of Mike is going to be a disaster, but Mike
assures them he'll be there for them.
