Definitely a *much* better day in Port Charles!!!

Today's Stories He Can't Seem to Stay Away
                        Moncia's Brilliant Idea & Westerns
                        A Long Time Coming (huh?)
                        A Leap of Faith?

He Can't Seem to Stay Away
--------------------------
As Lucy prepares for her bath she details her part in the sting to Sigmund.
She lets Sigmund in the bubble filled tub and then joins him after telling
Sigmund all about setting up Scully. Sigmund quacks back at her when she
makes the mistake of talking a lot of "fowl" language. Lucy and Sigmund
soak as Lucy goes on about how nice it is to have him to come home to talk
to. Much better than a shrink, but oops, that would mean folks wouldn't
go to Kevin. Lucy also realizes that Kevin is the best thing to ever happen
to her. Then Lucy hears Kevin calling out and asking where she is. Kevin
must have a key because before long he's in her bathroom. Kevin is several
sheets to the wind as Lucy says and won't hand her a towel..he likes her just
as she is. Lucy hangs on to Sigmund for dear life as Kevin tells her about
his evening with the guys where he "considered all things Lucy." Lucy is
worried especially when she hears the guys were Mac and Tony. But Kevin
assures her he told them nothing about her "liason" with Luke because Kevin,
knows nothing, nada. What Kevin hates is that he feels out of control since
Lucy is out of control. And all because Lucy has gotten to him as no one else
has. He realizes he can't stop loving her, that he can't not love her. Lucy
has the same sentiment. Kevin hates what Lucy is doing but he hates not being
with her more. Lucy and Kevin finally reach for each other and touch. Kevin
then starts to step into the tub. When Lucy points out he is still fully
clothed he removes his billfold and steps in, minus only his billfold. That
is much better. Later Kevin has definitely removed his clothes as he and Lucy
are wrapped in towels, out of the tub. Lucy is very glad Kevin decided not to
drive home. Kevin starts to empty his shoe of bath water but gives up and
drops the shoe back in the tub where Sigmund swims among the bubbles. Kevin
and Lucy are off in their own little world.

Moncia's Brilliant Idea & Westerns
----------------------------------
Alan discovers Monica has been unable to sleep wondering if the fur is
flying at Luke's between the Quartermaines and the Cerullos. She's
decided to wait for their return in case Ned and Lois need backup. She is
delighted to have Alan wait with her. When Alan points out how much stronger
Monica is getting she points to Page as the one who is giving her strength.
Monica just wishes there was a support group in Port Charles since both she
and Page miss the La Mesa group. Ah...light bulb. Monica thinks GH should
have a wellness group and she's the one to get it started. Alan worries that
she might be biting off more than she can chew but that doesn't worry Monica.
She won't run the group...just get it planned and start the fundraising. To
that end she gets Alan to agree to have them be the first contributors. Then
the Ashtons, Cerullos and Edward come in. Lila is having Reggie bring her in
another door. Ned figures Lila's stopping in the pantry for a quick drink.
They have returned from Luke's where it was Gloria who put an end to the game
of craps after Carmine's winning streak came to an end. There Ned saw the
soft spot the Cerullos have for Sonny. Edward and Carmine's argument over the
best way to eat peanut butter makes everyone hungry but instead of waking
Cook, Gloria offers to whip up a late night snack leaving the Quartermaines
speechless. In the kitchen Carmine and Edward argue over business and when
politics is determined to be a definite conversation no-no Ned suggests they
talk about Westerns. Edward's favorite star is the Duke, Lila's is Gene Autry
but Carmine's is Clint Eastwood. Then in comes Emily to join the party. To
the adults dismay her favorite Western star is Kevin Costner since the only
Western she's ever seen is "Dances With Wolves." Finally Edward and Carmine
have something to agree on...Emily needs to be educated about real Westerns.
As they eat the frittata, which Emily thinks is just an omelet, Edward and
Carmine come up with a list of Westerns for Reggie to rent for Emily's
viewing. Then in comes Ned with his guitar and they start singing "Red River
Valley." Later they're singing "Oh Susannah" as they clean up. [The Pirate
King and Prince Charming can sing anytime I'm doing dishes!] Gloria refuses
to leave the dishes for the staff or to use the dishwasher. [Now that's
something I'd never turn down!] Gloria notices "the husbands" are missing.
Edward and Carmine are having a brandy as Edward notes Lois is like Carmine
and Carmine notes he can see Ned is like Edward. The verdict is still out on
the marriage since they come from such different families but Edward and
Carmine agree they know real love when they see it.

A Long Time Coming (huh?)
-------------------------
Simone has invited Justus back to her place after they leave Luke's. She
goes to get some wine but instead brings out the champagne she won at the
hospital New Years raffle. They toast the "special evening" and discuss
Tommy's reaction to the divorce, Simone's visit to Atlantic City when she
was 14 to see the Temptations [without parental permission], and what Justus
wants out of life. Justus goes to leave but before he does there is a kiss
which seems to be leading to more. It's fine with Simone since they are
adults and she would rather do than think. She wants to dive in without
analyzing it to death...which they do since they have the place to themselves.

A Leap of Faith?
----------------
When the craps game breaks up Luke asks Mike to stick around so they can
discuss the plans for Scully. Luke fills Mike in on the sting. It's a
leap of faith for Luke to trust anyone but he has chosen to trust Mike.
They both have Scully's downfall in their interest, each for his own reasons.
Despite the danger, Mike is in to ride shotgun for Luke. Then in comes
Sonny who blows up when he hears Luke has told Mike the plans, let alone
is trusting Mike to ride shotgun. Sonny figures that Mike will disappear
when the going gets tough or cash in with Scully. Mike tries to bow out
but Luke wants Mike in. Sonny offers to have Harry round up some muscle but
Luke wants no parts of hired hands. Sonny figures Luke has lost it by buying
into Mike's con. Later Brenda feels the wrath of Sonny's anger over Luke
trusting Mike. He can't be objective about Mike and when she tries to ask
him about it he tells her there is only one side...his!!! As the evening
comes to a close Brenda tries to help Sonny but doesn't know what to do.
Meanwhile in Luke's Mike has closed up and heads home after thanking Luke
for not backing down over the dispute between Mike and Sonny. Mike claims
he won't blow it...he has everything riding on it. Luke hopes Mike won't
blow it, since Luke has everything riding on it too.

Till Next Time
