Date: Tue, 11 Apr 1995 12:11:37 CDT From: U14780@uicvm.uic.edu Subject: GH: Update for Mon 04/10/95 Written By: kathy%gundog@lbl.gov (Kathy Ellington) General Hospital Update for Monday, April 10, 1995 Done in semi-Johnny style: At the Q gatehouse, it's controlled chaos! Lois and Ned have overslept and are madly tear-assing around the place getting dressed. Lois is afraid that Carmine and Edward will mix it up over breakfast. Meanwhile, the Cerullos have wandered down to get some grub. The Q's are already buzzing around; Edward is reading the financial section of the newspaper and Lila is on the phone to a London auction house, bidding on some Beidermeier furniture. Alan and Monica are also present. Monica explains to Gloria what Lila is doing on the phone and shows her the catalog of stuff. Gloria can't believe that it looks just like the junk Auntie so-and-so had! She and Carmine exclaim to each other that the Q's are paying $20K for some old junk. Ned and Lois arrive in the Big House and lay out the day's plans for Carmine and Gloria. At the Bradley Ward house, Keesha and May-Mae discuss the Paris trip. Keesha phones her Dad in Philly and tells him she's coming for a flying visit to discuss "something important"! Her dad pulls and end-run and decides to travel to Port Chuck instead; that way he can visit May-Mae at the same time. At Luke's club, he and Sonny talk about the sting. They need to get some drugs to plant into the Deception shipment, but where to get them and who to contact? Luke thinks it would be fitting to rip off one of Scully's drug shipments and plant his own dope in the Deception truck. They call Harry and ask for his help. At Kelly's, Lucky, Sly and Foster plan their day over cappucino and kibble. The kids want to visit Annabelle's puppy. Lucky tells Sly about Emily and they decide to bring her back to Kelly's to meet Foster. At the gatehouse, MenuDon't replays the last fight he had with LeLee. Brenda interrupts his reverie and they talk about the upcoming video. She tries to plant an evil seed and "suggests" to Mig that he might be distracted if LeLee is in the video. She also tells him about confronting LeLee and her dependence on Sonny. They agree that LeLee is one mixed-up muchacha. LeLee, ears burning, walks in just then with an "Aha! I caught you two together" look. The Ashtons and Cerullos barge in on her heels so nothing flares up between the fillies. Lois reassures LeLee that being nervous about the video is a natural reaction and of course she MUST be in MonkeyBoy's film. At the Q mansion, Sly and Lucky blow in and everybody meets Emily. The kids ask her to have lunch with them at Kelly's and meet Foster. She agrees. Meanwhile, Paige, Monica and Bobbie plan a day of genteel sightseeing to be capped with lunch at the Outback. Lucky and Edward get into it again over the puppy. After the kids leave, Edward makes goo-goo talk to the pup. Meanwhile, back at May-Mae's, Keesha is sweating out Pop's visit. Justus says he'll support her going to Paris even if it means that she's going to let Jason get his end wet. The Ashton/Cerullo party arrives and claim to be impressed by May-Mae's good works. Carmine promises some free sporting equipment for the kiddies [yah, I can see it now. Two dozen lacrosse sticks and a gross of lawn darts]. It's nearing lunchtime for the Ashton/Cerullos and Ned suggests the Hotel Grill but Lois insists on the Outback. Ned makes a frantic phone call to warn Mac that Carmine is coming and that he might recognize him from when Mac went to Brooklyn in search of dirt on Sonny. Robin takes the message but forgets to give it to Unkie Mac until Carmine and Group walk in the front door. Carmine does, indeed, remember Mac. Mac does some fast explaining about why he was snooping about Sonny. He claims that he was worried about Robin's involvement with Stone and Stone's involvement with Sonny so that's why he was digging into the Teeny Terror's past. Lois and her parents buy the story; Ned whispers to Mac that he owes him a big one. Back at Luke's club, Harry tells them that Scully is expecting a major load of Bolivian Marching Dust in the next few days. He'll nose around (so to speak) and get the details. end of show end end send comments, questions, and flames to kathy%gundog@lbl.gov end end end
