Subject: gh update 4/6/95 Date: Thu, 6 Apr 1995 16:07:18 -0700 From: jyarnot@netcom.com (Jan Yarnot) LUKE & LAURA Boring, boring, boring, boring, BORING!!!! As RL Lily said: Laura: "I want to go home." Luke: "soon." Lucky added a bit of difference with :"soon." The only reason Lulu didn't say "soon" was she wasn't talking. The sting goes down tonight. HOW YA GONNA KEEP EM DOWN ON THE FARM, AFTER THEY'VE SEEN PAREE? Keesha is studying up on Paris when Justus comes in to look at MaryMae's taxes, and she demands to know how things went with Simone. He says the breakup with Tom was justified. Later, Jason comes in and asks her to Paris in French, and she's thrilled, and they're raving about it when Marymae comes in and overhears "Paris". She demands to know what they mean? (Keesha's over 18, right?) PORT CHARLES THAT GREAT PARTY TOWN, PART 1. Tony, Boobie and Lucas are discussing the party. Lucas is concerned about will Georgie be able to eat the cake and Tony suggests freezing a piece, and Mrs. Tact-R-Us reminds him of losing B.J.'s first snowball. She doesn't even have the grace to look stricken, and she leaves to everyone's vast relief. Stone and Robin come to help, but turns out Stone has a fever and a sore throat so Robin and Tony send him home. He is worried about the tests with Tony tomorrow. At the party, besides Georgie and her family, there are Mac, Kevin, Amy, Simone and Tommy, and they're singing. Tony recites "an ode to Georgie" and Kevin calls it "a georgic", which should really be an agricultural poem, but considering the name, in this case he thinks it's appropriate. As a poet, Tony makes a great brain surgeon. In comes Lucy! Kevin looks like he's seen a ghost, Bobbie snides to Tony "did you have to ask HER?" and Tony points out that she was part of the great Canadian chase, eh? Bobbie hurrumphs "she won't let us forget it!" Kevin still looks poleaxed as Lucy sings something Georgie-Porgyish at the baby and Lucas corrects her that GP was a boy. She comes over, kisses Kevin on the cheek and tells him she loves him. He notes a hovering Amy and takes her back to the foyer. Amy's ears have grown so long she can play the hospital Easter Bunny without a costume, and she gets some juicy stuff as Kevin continues to tell Lucy he's sick of her games, she teaches him "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and refuses to hear anything and is off to Luke's (I see the Friday cliffhanger looming!) and tells him she loves him again. Then she "ta-ta's" at the party, Kevin comes back in nearly over the Amy-bunny, and off she goes. Bobbie slinks up to Kevin and simpers. She has advice for him: with regards to Lucy? Three words: Nine-One-One. PORT CHARLES THAT GREAT PARTY TOWN, PART 2 [Darn! I got cheated out of the actual dinner: but it should be good!] Lois is hyperventilating over her parents' visit. One thing that worries her is there will be no BlueHoos for Carmine. However, Marymae is coming to record, and Ned will stay and conduct his business at the Gatehouse. She tells him, no, don't, oh THANK YOU please stay!! Meanwhile, Lila is laying down the law to Edward about behaving himself in front of company. You'd think after 50 years she'd know better. She talks to the maid (on an important day like this they let Reginald escape??) setting up the non-BlueHoo menu. Oysters on the half-shell, duckling a l'orange (CALLING THE DSB!!!! i KNOW MANY OF YOU ARE DOUBLING AS BOBBIE- SLAPPERS, BUT THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!), wild rice, haricots, brie, and melon tart. Yes, indeed, that's bound to go over well with Lois' folks! Jason comes by looking for Ned, and goes down to the Gatehouse to ask for the use of the jet. Ned is, of course, reluctant. He tells Jason it's "restricted for corporate purposes" (like all his trips with Lois and Katherine.) Jason points out that Ned is probably mistaking him for his big brother AJ, and Ned recalls that he really has no reason to diss Jason except an excess of Quartermaine family feeling, and says OK to the jet. Alan and Monica are enjoying the morning when in come Page (looking terrible) and Emily. Page can't cope with OJ (like, who can?) and goes back to bed and Emily sits with her. Emily wants to know why they're in Port Charles. They discuss it, and decide they don't know if Emily should stay yet. Page says, groggily "We're in no rush to decide." MaryMae gets to the Gatehouse and goes in to record while Lois works on her press release. Emily comes by with Annabelle. Lois is delighted to meet her and they discuss Annabelle and the puppy. Lois says "there are advantages to being an only child" and Emily ponders this "Are there?" Lois introduces Emily to MaryMae, Ned, and Donovan the sound guy. Emily listens to the recording session ("On the Sunny Side of the Street") and when it's over, it's close onto Dinner Time. Lois goes into panic again and Emily gives her this look like "Who ARE these weird people??" Ned takes Emily back to the Big House and she reports to Monica. Monica says it's the first time she's seen Emily happy since they came to PC. Ned asks how *Monica* is, and then asks her to help keep Edward in line. [Jan, gleefully rubbing hands together, this is gonna be such fun!!] The family is all gathered in the parlor, when the Cerullos are announced. Carmine is carrying the bags, Gloria is carrying the pasta, and Lois is having another panic attack.
