Planning A Party Missing A Garden ---------------- Luke and Lucky oh and ah over Lesley Lu. After Laura puts Lu back down Laura gets the latest news from PC. Lucky is getting exhausted with his negotiations with Mr. Quartermaine about the puppy. While they agree they should be responsible pet owners and get Foster fixed they take umbrage with Edward making that a condition of further negotiations about the puppy. Once Lucky goes off to bed Luke and Laura revel at being along together in the same room. Once in Laura's bedroom Luke recalls how safe they were in that very same room 14 years before. But Laura doesn't want to get too comfortable in Beechers Corners. Laura wants to go home, she's missed Luke and Lucky and wants to see her garden come to life. Luke tells her it won't be long and her garden will be there when she returns, with the perennials blooming. [Not what she wants to hear Luke!] Solutions to Drinking Alone --------------------------- Justus comes into the Outback and drinks his beer alone after he and Mac have a discussion about Justus' and Simone's "quiet" first date.. While drinking his mind wanders and he begins to fantasize about Simone. Meanwhile in the brownstone Simone is doing paperwork [sure looked like tax forms to me] and her mind wanders. She starts fantasizing about Justus. When Mac snaps Justus back to reality Justus decides to do something about drinking alone and calls Simone. He invites her to dinner but there's a problem. All her babysitters are busy. So Justus tells her he'll take care of it. He calls the Ward house where Jason and Keesha are discussing 18th century French politics. Keesha makes Justus sweat a bit but she and Jason agree to go to Simone's. Once they arrive Simone heads off to the Outback. BUT....once there Justus and Simone are both very nervous. It is not the same as the campaign or work and there is no marriage to hide behind, but they both feel great. April in Paris? --------------- While babysitting Jason and Keesha continue their discussion of 18th century French politics but Keesha would rather hear of 20th century Paris. When Keesha asks Jason to describe Paris he paints pictures of all the sights of Paris but particularly likes Paris at dawn. Keesha expresses the wish to save for a trip to Europe after graduation, if her father will let her go. Jason has a great idea. He's never used the ELQ jet unlike others in the family. He suggests they take the jet to Paris over spring break. Keesha thinks it's a great idea, but she has to handle all the rest of her own expenses. Jason figures they can stay at B&B's etc to keep down expenses. [Oops, have you looked at the exchange rate lately Jason??] Planning A Party ---------------- Bobbie and Tony come into the Outback with an invitation for Mac. Lucas has suggested a welcome home party for Georgie. Mac thinks it's a great idea and will be there. Bobbie and Tony take a table and discuss plans for the party. Actually Tony wants to handle party on his own. It's something he has to do, like watching out for Felicia since Frisco hasn't shown his face. Bobbie suggests that while they continue therapy maybe they should acknowledge that their marriage as such doesn't exist and take the pressure off themselves about worrying if the marriage can be saved. She doesn't want to put the rest of their lives on hold since otherwise they are functioning "around" the marriage. Tony agrees and is glad she brought up the subject.
