                           General Hospital Update
                              Tues Apr 04, 1995

Another non-action Tuesday, however the writers came back!

Early in the morning, Brend and Sonny are making nice to each other. Brenda
starts opening her presents. When Sonny goes to the kitchen, Brenda's
attitude changes and her face turns sour. Her attitude improves when Sonny
rejoins her and she opens her presents, some more enthuisiastically some
others. One gift was from Mike, a picture of 5 yr old Sonny. After all the
gifts are opened Sonny leaves and almost runs over Lois. Lois comes in and
asks Brenda how she is doing. Brenda gives a song&dance but Lois ain't
buying. [Question: Isn't Lois 2 years younger than Brenda?] Brenda assures
Lois that after the original letdown she is fine with the situation.

Lucky is helping out Ruby and takes a hearty breakfast order from Mike. Lucky
asks if Mike is staying in PC and Mike says yes, his son is here. Lucky is a
little concerned since Sonny hates Mike. Mike says that is true and something
he has to work through. Lucky give him a pep talk and gets the breakfast.

Sonny then comes into Ruby's and sits down at Mike's table. He tells Mike to
never try to get to him through Brenda. Mike calmly stands, pays his bill,
says to Sonny,

                'Get over it' and walks away. LiLee comes down and sees Sonny.
She walks over to him and asks if he is ok. He says he is fine. They talk a
little about the fight that happened with some guy McUgly. Sonny says LiLee
should not blame herself at all. She says she was angry and AJ was being
pleasant and nice to her.

A non-teenage looking Robin drops by Stone's to escort him to the hospital
and his appointment with Kevin. Once there Kevin asks about insurance. When
told that Sonny will cover everything but is not the legal guardian, Kevin
tells him that Stone will be his research project from which he will get
oodles of awards. [By the way, Kevin has an excellent 'bedside manner' with
Stone, i guess much like Ryan had with kids.] After doing a verbal and
mechanical test, Kevin tells Stone to write down a sentance. Stone writes 'I
don't like taking tests' but drops a couple of letters and transposes a few.
Kevin doesn't let on and proceeds to the next test. After the test, Stone
complains about his headache. Kevin asks more about the headaches and is told
that they have been occuring more recently since he got a flu he can't shake.

Brenda comes by Ruby's and sees Lucky tending bar [no school on Saturdays].
He tells her she just missed Sonny and that LiLee had hung out with him a
couple of minutes. Brenda turns a shade of green. She waits for LiLee to
return and then lights into LiLee for using Sonny. LiLee defends her position
by telling Brenda that Brenda has plenty of friends and LiLee only has Sonny.

Lucy comes to Luke and tells him that her shipment of essence is gone. Luke
is glad, Lucy is worried, very worried, about her essence, Deception, and
Kevin. (for some reason we get a 30 second scene of Scully calling Boris and
telling him the deed is done) Luke asks if she isn't being just a bit
melodramatic. She starts explaining when Lucky comes in interupting their
conversation and Lucy changes subject very quickly. She gets into her
talking, won't shutup and won't take hints mode, about the worms and Sigmund
and they have to forcefully escort her out. Lucky and Luke are going to visit
Laura and LesLu. They suprise her and she is just ecstastic.

At the end of the day, Sonny comes home and Brenda tells him that she went to
Ruby's. She asks him if it is a good idea for him to butt into LiLee life and
have a relationship with her. He tells her he went to see Mike and then turns
the table on her quite nicely when she reveals she spoke to McUgly.
