                           General Hospital Update
                              Tues, Mar 28 1995

Yawn, it was a very slow day today. The writing and acting wasn't much. Only
good point was that Gene was on again. Here is a quick rundown on the show,
such as it was.

Sonny comes to the studio and tells Lois & Brenda that he is throwing a 21st
birthday party for Brenda on Friday night. He also informs Brenda that he has
a special suprise gift for her. After he leaves Brenda starts musing about
what the gift might be and gets this glowy look on her face when she supposes
its an engagement ring. Lois tries to talk her down but is unsuccessful.
Brenda leaves to go shopping, Ned comes by and Lois tells him what Brenda is
thinking. Ned is upset and is more determined to get the lowdown on Sonny.

Sonny goes to the Q mansion to invite Lila and clan. He meets up with AJ.[You
gotta hand it to AJ, if he doesn't like someone he tells 'em straight to
their face.] They exchange some insults, mostly from AJ, then Lila comes. For
some reason Lila likes Sonny and is very nice to him. She gladly accepts his
invite on behalf of the whole family.

Ned had been visiting Deception, where Lucy was placing another order of
essence from France. He wants to know what is going on with the company. Lucy
admits to trouble from Damien and argues for time to deal with it with Luke's
help when Ned offers the help of Q Corp. Ned gives her a short leash, after
that the Q's will deal with the problem in their own way. Kevin comes in at
the end of the conversation. Ned leaves and Kevin asks Lucy what's up. He
sees right through her and they have an argument. She won't tell him the plan
and he accuses her of being caught up in the thrill of it all and not using
her brains and going to the authorities. He is also upset that she won't
trust him enough to tell him the plan. He points out that Damien and Luke are
not that different. He storms out. She heads out to Lukes.

Luke is talking to Laura who talks to him about LuLu. Unfortunately the child
is suffering from Rapid Aging Telegenitcaly Syndrome [rats for short :) ] and
is allready talking. He hangs up upon Lucy's arrival, followed by Sonny. She
tells them that the trap has been set and she'll tell Damien in an
'accidental' way about the new shipment. Sonny doesn't think she can pull off
the whole caper, Luke is more .. well hopeful.

Monica receives the news from her doctor that she does indeed seem to be
clean of cancer. Also, confirmation that Paige has less than 3 months. Monica
doesn't call to tell anyone in her family about her clean bill but chaperones
with Paige [actually the scene when Monica leaves the dr office and
approaches Paige who is resting on the couch in the lounge was very good. Not
a word of dialogue and the music was understated as Paige wakes and they meet
eyes then hug]. When they get back to the mansion AJ admits to being selfish
and wanting Monica to keep space between her and Paige. Moncia angrily tells
him that she owes her life to Paige. Little later Alan comes home. He is very
nice with Paige and walks her out to the kitchen but is angry at Monica for
not telling him right away about her clean state. He then basically tells her
the same thing that AJ did. From the look of Monica's you can't tell if the
basic message is hitting home, if she's angry or what.

Mrs Cerillo calls Lois with bad news and trouble. Lila has invited the whole
family for dinner next week.
