                            GH Update for 03/24/95

Scene 1
Luke and Sonny talk about Joe Scully. Luke wonders why Joe would bother to put
the squeeze on something as small as Port Charles. Luke believes something more
smells with the stolen shipment than just musk oil. He proposes they try to
plant contraband in a shipment and then have it stolen.
Scene 2
At the brownstone, Bobbie and Lucus wait for Tony to arrive home to a surprise
birthday party; unfortunately, he was called into emergency surgery.  Simone
rambles downstairs to commiserate.
Scene 3
The Fab Four, Felicia, Mac, Kevin, and Lucy stumble around the not-so-fun-house
looking for Ryan. They find him on a carrousel with Georgie where he continues
to taunt them.
Scene 4
Bobbie and Simone kvetch over their love lives. "You can turn your heart to
stone, but that doesn't mean the juices stop flowing," Bobbie points out
succinctly if somewhat crudely.  They both admit to feeling neglected.
Scene 5
Justus stops by to chat with Mae Mae who immediately wants to know if he had
any part in Simone's breakup with Tom.
Scene 6
Justus emphatically denies any involvement, but he doth protest a bit too much,
and she tells him to go slow, since Simone will need friends and support and
not a ride on the rebound express.
Scene 7
Luke suggests they plant drugs in one of Lucy's shipments and then have Scully
busted after he steals it. Sonny says Joe will surely know who set him up after
it goes down, and besides, Sonny doesn't have a supplier [jeez, try the local
elementary school yard].  Luke argues convincingly they can cover their tracks,
and finally Sonny agrees. Luke says they will bait the trap with the tasty Ms.
Coe.
Scene 8
Absurdly, Ryan rides around the scary-go-round, then disappears but leaves the
baby in a carrousel seat, and Felicia retrieves her unharmed.  Predictably,
Kevin also is missing. [Question: if both Kevin and Ryan had sex with Felicia
at the same time, would it be considered a Doppleganger bang?]
Scene 9
Kevin wanders through a hall of mirrors while Ryan taunts him.  Conveniently,
they are dressed the same [I'll bet some writer thought this mirror thing would
be real clever. It was; the first hundred times it was done.]
Scene 10
Keesha jokes with Justus and Mae Mae and asks if he's going to pursue Simone.
Scene 11
Meanwhile, Simone and Bobbie blather about marriage. Simone worries she didn't
fight for her marriage enough. As they finish off all the birthday sandwiches,
a weary Tony arrives home.
Scene 12
Sonny and Luke decide to go ahead with their plan, but they need to find out
more about Scully's methods and to get a source for some drugs.  Laura calls,
and they banter about family stuff. When Laura asks when things will be
finished, Luke replies very soon, but she gets suspicious when he also suggests
they apply for an MCI "Friends and Family Discount."
Scene 13
Tony is very happy and touched at the party stuff, and he and Bobbie share a
Kodak moment.
Scene 14
Ryan sneaks up on Kevin who is admiring himself in a mirror. They struggle
briefly, but soon go back to playing, "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the
biggest nut of all?" Eventually, they go for best two out of three falls.
During the struggle, a gas pipe gets broken.  Kevin finally gives Ryan a shot
to the nose and breaks free. He runs off leaving a screaming Ryan standing in
the escaping gas.
Scene 15
Justus jokes with Keesha and Mae Mae that he won't have to pursue Simone since
their work will keep them in contact.
Scene 16
Luke and Laura continue to get off talking dirty long distance.
Scene 17
Brenda lounges in her satin nightie waiting for Sonny. When he gets home, she,
not knowing when to shut up as usual, starts in again apologizing for being a
big mouth to Mike. Despite his attempts to change the subject, she continues to
jabber about how sorry she is.
Scene 18
As Kevin hides, Ryan throws some sort of switch (lights?) which sparks igniting
the gas with an explosion of fire.
Scene 19
Sonny tries to reassure Brenda with his usual sexist comments which she
relishes, and they lock lips and hop into the sack.  [I guess that's one way to
shut her up.]
Scene 20
Tony and Bobbie chat about Felicia and the hunt for Georgie.
Scene 21
As Kevin watches in horror, Jon-of-Arc gets toasted like a marshmallow at a cub
scout jamboree. In the flames, he imagines he sees their mother appear next to
Ryan. [Give JL an Emmy for best performance by a smoked ham actor]
