Date: Sun, 26 Feb 1995 21:18:10 CST From: U14780@uicvm.uic.edu Subject: GH: Update for Fri 02/24/95 GH Update for 02/24/95 By John R. Andrews, UIC Scene 1 At Luke's Club, bar tending Mike tries his usual lame pickup line on the cellular-occupied Lucy, but Kevin arrives to sweep her off to a table. Scene 2 Ryan presses the reticent Connie to cough up the drugs he requested. Scene 3 Alan and Monica discuss Paige and her daughter. Apparently, the medical news on Paige isn't too good. Scene 4 Tony checks up on Sean who reports his right arm is numb. To check his strength, Tony asks him to "squeeze my finger." [or was it pull my finger?] Tony doesn't like the results, so in true doctor fashion, he rushes out to order more tests. Scene 5 Connie slips Ryan the drugs, and he continues to verbally manipulate her. Scene 6 As Lucy continues to bemoan the problems currently plaguing Deception, Katherine and Damian revel in their maliciousness in the background. Scene 7 Tiffany tells Luke that when Sean recovers, he will have to change his risk taking ways as there will be another person to think about. Scene 8 Katherine tells Damian she's got another piece of dirt on Lucy she got from Ned, and she's just been waiting for a good time to drop it on her. She saunters over to Kevin and proceeds to tell him about Lucy's past affair with the married Tom Hardy. Scene 9 Tony tells Tiff and Sean that his condition is worsening, and soon he won't be able to sign the insurance forms, so he's going to be shipped off to Mass. General Hospital immediately for micro-surgery. Scene 10 Luke apologizes to Sean and says he'll miss their "fights." Sean tells him to get Joe Scully. Scene 11 As Alan prepares to leave, Monica and he talk about going on vacation when she returns home. Scene 12 Kevin tells Lucy that Katherine told him about Tom Hardy. Lucy attempts a defense, but Kevin just asks if she's embarrassed about it. When she says yes, he tells her as long as she doesn't try to justify it, he's ok with her past. Scene 13 Luke stops by the evil duo's table where Damian taunts him about shooting Sean saying that now Luke and Frank Smith were the same; except, Luke pointedly counters, Frank Smith is dead. Damian is not pleased at the remark. Scene 14 Ryan pops the pills he got from Connie. Scene 15 Luke chats with Mike about Sean and Joe Scully. Luke says he plans to ask Sonny who might have fired that first shot. Scene 16 Lucy babbles on about Tom Hardy despite Kevin's seeming lack of further interest in the subject. In fact, she appears to slightly resent that he's not jealous at all. Meanwhile, Katherine is outraged her attempts at mischief failed. Scene 17 Paige drops off her daughter with Monica. The kid senses a problem and asks Monica what's wrong. Monica feigns ignorance and tries to entertain the youngster by offering to play opera CD's [good choice, Doc, didn't I just see Beavis and La Boheme on MTV the other day?]. They chat about Annabelle and Foster, and Monica invites her to come see them at her place, but the girl is understandably pessimistic about making such plans for the future. [Oh, oh, I see a love triangle shaping up between the girl, Lucky, and Maxie. Could get very ugly.] Scene 18 In yet another maudlin goodbye scene, Mac, Robin, and Felicia pay a farewell visit to Sean. Scene 19 Kevin and Lucy continue to banter aimlessly. Scene 20 Damian tells Katherine he wants to upset the Quartermain's Charles Street Foundation plans. He suggests they target the ambitious AJ. Scene 21 In a short tickler scene, Luke tells Sonny it's over, but doesn't say what. Scene 22 In a final very emotional scene, Sean and Tiffany pack up and leave Port Charles [and, of course, as we all know, the show as well]. Scene 23 Paige tells Monica she's got new tumors and only has about three months to live. [So, I guess you don't want that free one year subscription to Prevention magazine, then]. Scene 24 Luke tells Sonny that Joe Scully either tried to frame him or kill him, so now Sonny has to choose between Joe and him. Scene 25 Back at Luke's, Kevin is suddenly interrupted by his beeper; it's Ryan's hospital calling. He tells Lucy, "Ryan's dead." [Damn, why not Miguel.]
