From: njs@lhdsy2.lahabra.chevron.com (N.J.Spera) Subject: GH: Update, Wednesday, February 15, 1995 Date: 16 Feb 95 16:22:38 GMT GENERAL HOSPITAL Wednesday, February 15, 1995 Today's Stories Feeling Splendid Back in Therapy Again? Where There Is Smoke There Is Fire The Looney Twins Feeling Splendid --------------- Kevin visits Felicia and pretends he hasn't already heard Frisco is supposed to return to Port Charles for the baby's birth. He expresses scepticism but Filly hasn't got her hopes up for anything beyond Frisco being in PC for the delivery. The conversation turns to Lucy whom Kevin describes as sublime. And yes, he is aware of her faults and imperfections but also lists Lucy's sterling qualities for Filly. He tells Filly how Lucy pushed him to confront his demons and free himself of both Grace and Ryan. Filly is concerned that Kevin visited Ryan but Kevin is sure it's over with Ryan. [Oops...sureness is a no-no in soap operas!] And he's in love with Lucy. Felicia despairs..to each his own and Kevin leaves for the hospital. Tiff visits Felicia and while Filly rambles on about Kevin making a mistake with Lucy Tiff drops comments about Filly's maternity clothes. Tiff even speculates about Lucy being pregnant when Filly realizes Lucy and Kevin are lovers. When Tiff comments that pregnant women see babies growing everywhere and when Filly has her repeat the statement Filly finally realizes Tiff is pregnant. They spend time bonding over their situations and Filly gives Tiff advice, telling her to enjoy the time and take a leave from the TV station. Tiff is in 7th heaven but also is realistic, after her previous miscarriage. But, this time everything is perfect. [Oops, another no-no, if everything seems perfect...the other shoe will soon drop!] Back in Therapy Again? ---------------------- Bobbie and Tony see each other in the hall at GH and discuss Tiff's good news. They get around to discussing their therapy when Tony brings up a possible situation they could have discussed in therapy...Bobbie's inability to have children. With that mention of therapy Bobbie wonders if Tony really wants more therapy after all the screaming and hurting that's gone on in Kevin's office. Tony does because although he's still very angry with Bobbie there still must be something there for it to matter so much. They agree to broach the subject with Kevin "together." Kevin sees them talking and joins them. Tony nudges Bobbie who asks if they can start therapy again. It's fine with Kevin. As far as he's concerned they never left. Where There Is Smoke There Is Fire ---------------------------------- Sean visits Scully at Scully's hotel room and wants to know what Scully is doing in Sean's jurisdiction. Joe doesn't like the tone but it doesn't matter to Sean. He warns Scully that two of Sean's men will be tailing Scully while he's in PC, reporting Scully's every move. And if Scully isn't out of PC by the end of the next week Sean will be back to see Scully again. Meanwhile, at Luke's, Sonny comes by and tells Luke about his meeting the day before with Scully, that he has a problem, Scully wants to take over in PC. Luke wants Sonny to tell Scully to take a hike but it's not that simple. Sonny then launches into his personal history, how after his mom married Deek and was abused by Deek, Sonny acted up to distract Deek and took the heat instead. Sonny ended up finally fighting back when he was 16 and then split. He went wild and stole a car for a joyride. Only that car was Joe Scully's. Scully ended up taking Sonny in and "saving" Sonny's life. Sonny learned the business and when his mom died and he wanted out of the city Joe set him up at the Paradise Lounge. This story is all fine and dandy with Luke but wants to know why Sonny can't let go. Well, it seems there was a situation that Joe handled for Sonny. But Sonny won't say what it is. Just as Luke starts bellowing Sean arrives, wanting to know why Scully is hanging around PC. Sonny plays dumb, Scully was only in town to check out the club. Sean doesn't buy it and warns Luke, afterall Sean is the one who will be called if bullets start flying outside Luke's club. Luke doesn't appreciate Sean's visit and isn't happy with Sonny. He expected loyalty from Sonny and the truth. If Sonny doesn't handle Scully Luke is ready to buy out Sonny. As their voices get louder once again there is a knock at the door. It's Joe Scully. Joe wants to see Sonny alone but Sonny say Luke can stay. They are partners. When Joe makes comments about the club Sonny tries to straighten Joe out...the club is clean but Joe doesn't buy that...with music and gambling?? That sends Luke off into "I don't pay protection...to you, or to Frank Smith, or anyone...that's why the partnership with Sonny." Joe's not welcome at Luke's. When Joe's gone Sonny warns Luke, not a good move. It's not a good idea to make Joe an enemy. The Looney Twins ---------------- Connie arrives in the prison library where Ryan has been reading. When he sees her he lets her think he's been willing her to come see her. He shows her a book and tells her to open it to a certain page. There is the note which he urges her to pocket. He asks her to read it...it explains everything...and to come back in an hour...it's a matter of life or death. Connie does return but she thinks he's playing a joke. She really can't believe people are trying to kill Ryan. But Ryan insists he's a dead man, that the staff has a price on his head. She offers to tell the guards but Ryan claims they are in on it. "They are planning to kill an innocent man because they think he's a blight." He gets Connie to admit she doesn't believe he killed anyone and offers to go to the warden or the press but Ryan doesn't want that. He weaves his tale of how she has made a difference in his life and reached a spot no one else has. He then urges her to leave. When she's gone there just a trace of a smile on his face. Later Ryan stumbles out of the mens room with blood streaming down his face. A guard grabs him and rings the alarm.
