Date: Tue, 14 Feb 1995 23:50:55 CST From: U14780@uicvm.uic.edu Subject: GH: Update for Mon 02/13/95 By: kathy%gundog@lbl.gov (Kathy Ellington) General Hospital Update for Monday, February 13, 1995 At LaMesa, Monica grimly jokes with Alan while she tries on wigs; she wants to hide her hair loss that's resulted from chemotherapy. Alan tries (again!) to reconnect with her. "Why am I here?" he asks plaintively. He says that he can't take much more rejection and wants to know if she would be happier if he waited for her back in Port Chuck. "No", she says tearfully, "I want you to stay!" She asks him to be patient. Later on, Paige and Alan wait for Monica to finish her chemotherapy session. They both agree that Paige's daughter, Emily, is wise beyond her years and that she's an "old soul". Alan remarks that Emily's other attributes are also beyond her tender years, such as her pert, perky cheerleader-style breasts and creamy, slender thighs. Alan stares moodily out the window, lost in reverie; Paige shifts uncomfortably in her seat...fade..... Sonny visits Joe Skully in the Port Charles Hotel. He wants to know the real reason Joe's in town. Scully tells Sonny that he came to town to help Sonny along in case he made mistakes trying to head up the old Frank Smith mob. Skully is skeptical that Sonny has the cojones to rule the mob, let alone direct the mob business into more legitimate directions. He reminds Sonny of his certain "weaknesses" in the past (such as not being able to kill some guy) and brings up the fact that Sonny owes him about Cusack. Sonny says he's not interested in a partnership, thanks anyway, and he's doing just fine with financing and with keeping the mob businesses clean so far. Skully asks him not to make any decisions right then. Sleep on it and we'll talk tomorrow. Sonny leaves; outside in the hallway he looks worried. As long as he's at the hotel, Sonny decides to drop in on Damian and tell him about Skully. He warns Damian about Skully's attempt to establish a partnershiip with Sonny and says Skully's real aim is to take over the mob. Sonny assures Damian that he turned Joe down like a cheap bedspread; Damian is hostile and snotty to him throughout their meeting. After Sonny leaves, Damian sleazes out the door and visits Skully himself. He announces that he's Frank Smith's son and he wants to talk! At Luke's club, Stone and Mike talk about Sonny. Brenda fills Stone in on the Sonny-Mike connection when they are alone. Mike tries to explain to them why he was irresponsible toward his wife and son in the past. Stone tells Brenda that Robin is coming over for some hot monkey love. Meanwhile, at the Scorpio house, Robin is busy packing a picnic basket for her visit with Stone. Let's see, she loads in plates, cups, napkins, a thermos of homemade soup for his sore throat, cookies, condoms, a rubber sheet, some Mazola oil, nipple clips, a yardstick, and, oh yes, don't forget the indoor trapeze set! Unkie Mac comes in just as she's closing the picnic basket and the two manage to have a conver- sation and remain civil, even after Robin outlines her plans for the evening. Mike offers to teach Brenda how to play poker. They play a few practice hands and discuss Sonny's past relationship with Joe Skully. Later on, in Stone's room above the club, he and Robin have their picnic, make fun of Unkie Mac and make love like crazed warthogs. end end send comments, questions, and flames to kathy%gundog@lbl.gov end
