                           General Hospital Update
                               Tues, Feb 07 '95

Lots of , uhh, activity today yet I was able to do this in real time.

Mac is steaming as he lets in Tiff and Big Idiot. Robin hasn't come back or
called yet. The happy couple try to get Mac to cool down but he is way too
upset about his niece coupling with a hood [good point]. They start
discussing where the couple might have gone and Mac figures they went to a
cheap hotel. He tells Tiff and BigIdiot thanks, but they should leave now.
Mac calls around, but the hotel desk clerk where they are actually staying
doesn't know it and tells Mac they are not there.

Robin and Stone are cooling off after the confrontation with Mac. Robin says
she is not sorry about anything she said to Mac. Stone says it drives him
nuts when Mac gets Robin upset. Stone feels he has followed all the rules
that were laid down [huh?] but that Mac kept tightening the vice8. Robin
doesn't want what happened to spoil the moment for them. The two start
talking and coddling. Robin was first attracted to his eyebrows, Stone her
eyes. They start discussing in more details [g-rated] what they like about
each other and eventually make out for real. [At this point i bailout.]

People are leaving the club, congradulating Luke and Sonny. Luke is a bit
sorry that Laura isn't there. The new/old lovy dovies, Ned & Lois come by and
give their best to Sonny. Lois is definitely bombed. Mike comes by with good
news about the repeat business generated. Luke shakes Mike's hand but Sonny
gives him a very cold shoulder and walks away, to Brenda's dismay.

Sonny serves Joe Scully a drink at the bar, off to the side. Scully confirms
that he arranged for Kusack not being a problem anymore. Scully reminds Sonny
that this is not the first time that he has done favors for him. Sonny says
there is no reason for reminders, but he want to know what Scully wants out
of it. Scully demurs and then brings Sonny up to date on the goings on around
Frank's old territory. Scully tells Sonny that while an excellent job was
done in getting Frank's territory , it will be more difficult keeping things
under control. Sonny is not happy to hear this from him, but Scully smooths
things over real quick. Scully leaves the bar and Harry asks Sonny if he
found out why Scully was in town. Sonny says no, but he did find out that
Scully took out Kusack. Harry is very dis-comforted by this noise. Scully
chats with Luke and Brenda as Sonny joins in. Poker game tommorow night in
the back room preceeded by a dinner with Sonny & Brenda. Scully says bye to
Luke and Brenda and gives Sonny a particulary warm goodbye. Luke says
interesting guy, what's up. Sonny says it is an old, long story.

Lois is sky high as she and Ned get ready for bed, Ned is shirtless. Lois
comes up with the idea of Ned doing the 'blues. Ned says wont be a problem
considering all the trouble he has gone thru the past year. The two of them
are basking in each others glow. Ned suprises Lois by knowing that is was
exactly 144 days since Lois jumped out of the cake. He asks Lois:
                        L I N E   O F   T H E   D A  Y
       "How many hours is that?"  "3,456."  They, uhmm, re-join.  Later on,
very early in the morning Lois is sitting up in bed as Ned wakes. Basically,
she tells him she is worried what is going to happen when the 6 week buzzer
goes off. Ned tries to tell her that time won't change anything.

Brenda comes to the bedroom dressed in a nice nightgown, Sonny is laying on
the bird shirtless and with no scars. Brenda asks isn't wonderful that his
old friend came by as a suprise and to witness his moment of triumph. Brenda
asks how did Scully know, he tells her they kept in touch. They'celebrate'
the clubs success. [What the heck? 3 bed scenes in 1 show!?] Brenda wakes up
to find Sonny sitting by the window, obviously pondering something. Sonny
reassures that nothing is wrong and they hug. Sonny is back in bed, with a
far away look in his eyes. Brenda tries to talk him but he shuts her out and
changes the path of the conversation.
