From: njs@lhdsy2.lahabra.chevron.com (N.J.Spera) Subject: GH: Update, Wednesday, February 1, 1995 Date: 2 Feb 95 18:06:27 GMT GENERAL HOSPITAL Wednesday, February 1, 1995 Today's Stories A Message For Ryan A Message From Ryan, Tit For Tat & The Bunny Brigade No Problem, Sonny's Fine A Message For Ryan ------------------ Connie is let into Ryan's cell. He is glad she came. She got his message. But, Connie has a message for Ryan. Bad news. She's been reassigned. Connie explains it's all her fault. Her supervisors didn't believe her glowing report about Ryan and feel she's too inexperienced to detect when Ryan is lying and she has become too emotionally involved. She's not to be alone with Ryan anymore. Ryan lets out a blood curdling scream that causes the guard to check to see if Connie is ok. She covers for Ryan, saying Ryan had been pacing and stubbed his toe. The guard doesn't quite believe it and reluctantly leaves them alone. Ryan is angry and scared that she's leaving him just like everyone. Connie tries to convince Ryan they will be able to see each other when he gets his privileges back, in the TV room or the rec area. However Ryan figures he'll never get out of his "cage" and points out Connie naive. He complains that the "only positive" interaction he had is being removed and that they want his soul and spirit to die by degrees day by day. That way he proves them correct that he can't be rehabilitated. He rambles on about being their scapegoat despite the fact that he's "innocent." Connie asserts that she won't let it be over between them before she leaves Ryan alone, curled up on his cot. A Message From Ryan, Tit For Tat & The Bunny Brigade ---------------------------------------------------- Lucy, going a mile a minute, complains to Kevin about the water balloon wielding bunny brigade that confronted her outside her apartment and then followed her once she got into her car. Kevin, who has been staring at some pictures, puts them down to listen. But Lucy sees he's been distracted and asks what he's been looking at. "A message from Ryan." Lucy is dismayed that Ryan is stirring things up but it doesn't matter to Kevin. Ryan's message was a picture of the two of them shortly before they were separated and Ryan has torn it in half, very neatly. Lucy wants to know what it means. Kevin tries to explain that Ryan is lonely and not ready to give up his link to Kevin. Lucy isn't thrilled that Ryan has come back to haunt them but Kevin accepts it as normal behavior, normal for Ryan. He wants her to forget about it, he has. [Watch out Kevin!] Kevin turns the conversation to the bunny brigade. Lucy wants tips on mass hypnosis but Kevin advises her to let actions speak and invite the bunny brigade into Deception to see how the experiments are conducted. There's a knock at the door. It's Bobbie. She starts into an "apology" to Lucy for attacking Lucy [in a most ridiculous voice], obviously very sarcasticly. Lucy manages to get out of there but when Kevin wishes her luck with the bunny brigade Bobbie makes a few more caustic remarks. When Lucy is gone Kevin wants to know "What was that all about?" Bobbie thought he'd be pleased, she's owning her hostility. She apologizes for walking of the last two session and claims she needed to run because of Tony [ah the blame game again, would someone tell me why *I* keep getting Bobbie's tirades!?] Kevin suggests a session then and there so Bobbie goes to find Tony. When the session begins Tony isn't quite sure why he's there. Bobbie is now willing to be accountable but she wants Tony to take some responsibility for causing her to run out of the previous session. She launches into a tirade about being attracted to Damian because Tony took her for granted. So he agrees he did take her for granted and they argue about her sleeping with Damian "only after Tony threw her out." Tony's really angry now. It has become tit for tat. The image of her with Damian makes him want to skin both her and Damian alive and Tony can't forgive or forget. Both wonder then why they are there. Tony walks out. Bobbie walks out. Kevin just sits there not having said a word. Lucy on her way out of the hospital runs into Amy, Steve and Audrey. Amy comments about seeing a lot of Lucy lately and that Lucy and Kevin are an item. Lucy poopoos the idea but Steve reminds her when they are out in public they are rarely seen without the other. Yes, Lucy admits, Kevin is a good man but talks about how hard it is to keep a good relationship going and asks Steve and Audrey how long they've been married. Neither one can say.. it's been forever and good. Later Lucy has one of the bunny brigade in her office trying to show her the reports that show Deception doesn't test on animals but the activist doesn't buy it. Reports can be doctored. Next thing Tiff and AJ show up. Tiff wasn't supposed to be there for another week but had been alerted one of the activists would be at Deception. AJ gives the ELQ line, we don't test on animals but it's a hard sell. AJ tries turning on the charm and manages to pull the activist aside for a one-on-one tour. Later the activist has given a statement that even Tiff calls strident. AJ the charmer invites her for a drink [what AJ and drinking, hmm] and despite the fact that she doesn't believe Deception's reports agrees to one drink. When they're gone Lucy warns Tiff not to warn the activist about AJ. She's getting exactly what she deserves. No Problem, Sonny's Fine ------------------------ Luke wants to know from Sonny if having Mike around is a problem. Sonny tries to convince Luke he doesn't care but Luke doesn't quite buy it. Lily comes in to see the club that everyone has been talking about and notices something is wrong with Sonny. Luke leaves them. Lily wants Sonny to let her be a friend and he does. He tells her about people coming out of the woodwork. Lily first guesses an old love, but that Sonny could handle. No it's his "old man" and figures he and Lily have something more in common. He hates his father too. Lily figures out Sonny's father is in town, [brilliant deduction!]. Sonny explains his father is a grifter who never stayed around long and never noticed Sonny. He wishes his father had stayed away the first time he left. Lily understands the anger and the hate. As she puts her arms around him to comfort him in walks Brenda who wants to know what is going on. Brenda doesn't believe them when they say nothing. Lily leaves. Brenda is not happy that Sonny turned to Lily instead of herself. Brenda goes to leave but Sonny yells at her not to go. When Brenda asks why not, it's because he needs her. He wraps his arms around Brenda very tightly. When Brenda has heard about Sonny's father she tries to compare their situations but that's not what Sonny wants to hear. When she asks why he told Lily first...it's because Lily just happened to be there and maybe because Lily doesn't want anything in return from him. Sonny walks out just as his father walks in. Corbin introduces himself. Brenda asks for his story about Sonny and wants to know what Corbin did to Sonny. Corbin says it was that he wasn't there most of the time rather than doing something to Sonny. Meanwhile Lily heads over to the Outback. Mac finds out she had been to the Outback and overhears her telling Migless that Sonny is upset that his (Sonny's) father is in town. Later when Migless goes to the storeroom Mac asks Lily Sonny's father's name. "Mike."
