Date: Sun, 15 Jan 1995 20:16:44 CST From: U14780@uicvm.uic.edu Subject: GH: Update for Fri 01/13/95 GH Update for 01/13/95 By John R. Andrews, UIC Scene 1 Laura and Lucky review Luke's new club and give a rousing two thumbs up. Scene 2 At the Outback, Damian and Katherine dine and scheme. Lucy arrives and promptly strolls over to give them another pointed jab. She then heads over to the bar to banter with Mac about Kevin proceeding to sing her own praises about how she helped Kevin while Katherine looks on vowing revenge. Scene 3 Luke serves up a round of drinks at the bar to toast the new place. He admits to being very excited about the whole thing. Laura says she's happy he's happy. Scene 4 Lucy continues to jabber on about how happy she is. Mac says she does seems to be a good influence on Kevin. She beams that she is the happiest woman on the planet, just as Katherine snarls to Damian that Lucy will wish she'd never been born. They begin to plot revenge. Scene 5 Edward tells AJ that Justus wants to add Jason to the Charles Street Development Association (CSDA) board, and he thinks the idea has some merit because of Jason's connection to the community. AJ objects, but Edward says it's practically a done deal. Scene 6 Justus and Keesha discuss AJ. Justus says he doesn't trust him. Keesha defends AJ saying he could be a big asset [ya, but without the "et"]. In the end, Justus agrees to accept AJ. Scene 7 Lucy relentlessly rambles to Mac about love, then blathers on to the subject of Mac, Felicia, and Frisco, and finally, even touches on Robin and Stone. Poor Mac is near exhaustion from the aural avalanche, so when Tony shows up, he excuses himself and quickly heads for the kitchen. Lucy immediately sinks her interrogative incisors into Tony and brings up Bobbie. Scene 8 Damian proposes they attack Lucy through Deception in a "direct and fundamental way." Scene 9 Luke shows off the new front sign over the club. Back inside, Sonny offers to get a maitre d' for Luke. Suddenly, an explosion shocks them all, as flames burst out in the club. Everyone is ok, and Luke and Sonny grab fire extinguishers to fight the now spreading fire while Laura calls 911. Scene 10 Jason tells Edward and AJ that he's interested in the CSDA board position and feels he can contribute to the project but needs to think about it a little and speak to Justus. AJ is dubious of Jason's reasons for getting involved. Scene 11 Justus and Keesha discuss Jason. Like AJ of Jason, Justus suspects there's more to Keesha's support than pure logic. Scene 12 Laura talks to the intrepid PC Fire Department giving her name, the address, and how many fireman's fund raffle tickets they want. Meanwhile Sonny and Luke valiantly try to contain the growing conflagration. Scene 13 Jason tells Keesha and Justus he is accepting the offer to serve on the CSDA board, but privately tells Keesha he's ruffled feathers and is not sure of the fall out. Scene 14 Lucy tells Tony she felt Bobbie paid too much attention to Kevin when he was in the hospital. Tony says he's not surprised; Bobbie gets obsessed with people, and Kevin is her current object since she's invested so much emotional energy in their therapy. Scene 15 K&D continue to plot revenge, but we don't learn any specifics. Scene 16 Apparently, Laura, flustered by the emergency, dialed the 1-900-HOT-HUNK line instead of 911 since the fire department has not arrived yet [or perhaps the person who took the call was involved in the attack]. Luke finally orders everyone out, but when they emerge, a barrage of gunfire erupts forcing them to dive for cover. Sonny, packing heat as usual, returns fire. Scene 17 Keesha discounts Jason's concern about AJ's reaction saying a place exists for both of them and suggests she talk to AJ. Jason agrees AJ might listen to her. Scene 18 Lucy gloats to Mac and Tony about how she is so up while Katherine and Damian are so down. Simultaneously, the devious duo toast their plan for revenge. [I really like Katherine with Damian. They make such a marvelously malevolent menage.] After Damian leaves to begin execution of their plan, Mac saunters over to chat with Kate. He questions her, but she plays cat and mouse with him [or is that bitch and bonehead?]. Scene 19 Keesha and Jason return to the Q mansion to see AJ. Scene 20 Luke, Lucky, and Laura huddle behind cover while Sonny continues to return fire. [And they say there's no reason to own semi-automatic assault weapons. Right now Lucky could be blazing away. But no.] When the assailants speed off, Sonny and Luke run to pursue them. Lucky, fearing Foster is still inside and trapped in the raging inferno, foolishly rushes in to try to save him despite his mother's terrified pleas to stop. Will Foster become a "hot" dog? Has Lucky's luck run out? Will the PCFD ever arrive? Stay tuned GH fans for more fun Monday.
