Thanks for the Beef
-------------------
Sonny is having a new suit fitted by Sam the tailor when Luke arrives. Sonny
and Sam convince Luke to get a new suit too, as Luke admits it would be nice
to have a new suit for the opening of the club on Friday. Meanwhile
downstairs Mike Corbin comes in looking for Luke. He and Stone introduce
themselves (ok folks, is this foreshadowing?) and when Corbin finds out Luke
is upstairs he asks to talk to the chef. Gino comes out wondering who this
guy is who wants to see him. Corbin has a line on a side of beef, is the
chef interested? Only if it's prime. Luke has given in and has been measured
for a new suit and has chosen the most expensive fabric. Meanwhile Corbin
drives up to the delivery entrance of the Port Charles Grille where a meat
company is making a delivery. He sheds his jacket and dons a white cooking
coat and offers to help the delivery men. However instead of helping them
he helps himself to a side of beef and some hind quarters, sticking them
in his back seat. [I don't think I'd want to ride in his back seat.] Once
Sam leaves Sonny's apartment Luke and Sonny celebrate the coming opening
and Luke concedes he's not usually comfortable with partnerships, only with
Robert Scorpio and of course Laura. He hopes there's nothing that will get
in the way of this partnership with Sonny. [Oops Sonny, watch out.] Luke
heads downstairs all psyched that B.B. King is to play at the opening.
Corbin shows up at Luke's with his gift, supposedly a man owed him a favor,
and he's just passing it on to Luke. Luke knows what Corbin wants, a job,
but Luke isn't ready to hire this guy. Corbin tries to convince Luke to
hire him as a maitre'd but Luke intends to server that role himself. So,
Corbin tries to paint a worst-case scenario. Luke still isn't sold but asks
where he can reach Corbin. Corbin can't be reached, he'll be in the next
day. When Corbin leaves Luke decides it's time to check "references" and
calls The Rustic Grille and of course they never have heard of Corbin.
Meanwhile upstairs Sonny has a visit from Harry. Cusak has returned to town.
Sonny isn't a happy camper. Cusak is in Sonny's town and has ignored Sonny's
request.

The Blame Game
--------------
Kevin is in his office and pulls a Deception jar out of his drawer. He
recalls his first "morning after" with Lucy but is interrupted by a knock
on his door. It's Bobbie, early for the Jones' appointment. She needs to
clear the air and the subject is "Lucy Coe." The problem isn't trust, that
he's seeing her, it's TASTE! [Boy Bobbie could I say something about your
taste!] Kevin points out the sessions are to deal with Bobbie and Tony's
emotional well being not Kevin's. Bobbie starts on a tirade but shuts up
when there's a knock on the door and it's Tony. Tony's concern is lack of
progress in the session even though he and Bobbie manage to be cordial to
each other outside the session. He also assumes Kevin and Bobbie were talking
about him when he entered. Bobbie informs him they were talking about Lucy
who launches into blaming Lucy for their problems. When Tony calls her on it
and points out she has shifted her blame from Tony and Damian she really
blows up at Lucy having a love life while her life is in shambles. Bobbie
storms out of the session after Tony points out that Lucy only opened the
door for Bobbie and Bobbie could have said no. [Thank you Tony!] Later in
the day Tony runs into Laura at GH. When she reminds him about the opening
of Luke's she notices he could use some cheering up. She finds out about the
session with Kevin and when she hears Bobbie is blaming Lucy Laura thinks she
knows why. Tony isn't upset that Lucy and Kevin were having dinner with Luke
and Laura at the Spencer's but Laura points out that the sessions with Kevin
and her brother's house are the few places where Bobbie feels safe and to
find Lucy at Luke's removed part of Bobbie's support. Tony doesn't quite
buy it and holds still that Bobbie is into the blame game but Laura points
out that Tony is doing the same thing and blaming Bobbie. Meanwhile Bobbie
shows up at the Q's and dumps on Alan about her session and blowup. Alan
hangs out his shingle and points out that as long as Bobbie and Tony each
claim to be right without conceding anything to the other they will get
nowhere. They are interrupted by a ringing phone. It's Monica. She wants
to know if Alan misses her. Yes. After she tells him about her earlier
phone call that she had Ned keep secret, he was worried when he hadn't heard
from her, she lets him know she lost it in her group session. She's
finding she's no different from anyone there. Monica urges Alan to give
"both" the boys a hug and he puts Bobbie on. After Monica tells Bobbie
to take care of Alan, Alan gets back on and is told to take care of Bobbie.
[Dangerous, Monica, Dangerous) When the phone call is ended Alan admits
he misses Monica.

The Walls Start Tumbling Down
-----------------------------
Monica has another session with the Wellness group. The rest of the group
call Monica on her refusal to really be a part of the group and on holding
herself back. She finally lets go and admits she doesn't want to surrender
control to their collective wisdom. There is another control freak in the
group and finally Monica really breaks down. She is convinced to tell her
cancer story and the group is moved to hear about the heart transplant that
occurred just before Monica first felt the lump. Monica is reminded she needs
to direct her control to master her immune system. Monia finally becomes a
comforter when the "survivor" in the group admits she needs the group to
survive.
