Subject: GH: Update for Fri 01/06/95

                            GH Update for 01/06/95

All in all this was a pretty dull day, and since I am suffering from a bad
cold, this update will be mercifully short.

Scene 1
Robin gets some papers from college. Mac is excited to have her open them, but
she balks.
Scene 2
Lucy and Kevin discuss Ryan. Kevin wants to confront him in person to achieve a
sense of closure, but Lucy is very apprehensive about it.
Scene 3
Robin finally opens the college reply and finds she's been accepted to Yale.
Mac is thrilled, but Robin is not happy. Spambrain is too dim to figure out her
sadness, so she lays it out for him. She says she doesn't want to leave Stone.
He finds it unbelievable [me too].
Scene 4
Miguel and LeeLee arrive at the priest for pre-Cana counseling. They tell him
they've know each other for seven years. The priest looks concerned and asks
Miguel if he's ready for the prejudice that accompanies mixed race marriages.
When Miguel questions him about what he means, the priest replies, "You know,
mixed races, your race and the human race."
Scene 5
Lucy chats with Mac and tells him Kevin is off to see Ryan. Damian and
Katherine arrive, and Lucy plays hostess and sees them to a table with a few
pointed remarks.
Scene 6
More counseling.
Scene 7
Edward and Lila arrive at the Outback. Lucy pulls up a chair to talk to Damian
and Katherine. She puts in dig after dig.
Scene 8
Mac announces that Robin was accepted to Yale. Stone, taken by surprise, and
Robin exchange words about her going to Yale.
Scene 9
As Justus' victory rally gets going, Damian gives Justus a contribution, but
Luke tells Justus it's dirty money, so Justus tears up the check.  Luke and
Edward banter about Luke's club.  Meanwhile, Stone pulls a male pissant act on
Robin, and she in turn does the corresponding female I'm sorry for being more
intelligent then you.
Scene 10
Laura makes a pitch for money to help pay off Justus' campaign debts.  She says
Miguel will sing unless people cough up some bucks fast.
Scene 11
Robin tells Stone she'd say no to Yale if he asked her to. Amazingly, he says
he can't do that, because they are from different worlds.  She says she loves
him, and he says he loves her. Finally, she asks him to make love to her. [Oh,
how they grow up. Just yesterday she was hiding the black pearl in her doll.]
Scene 12
Justus announces he's out of debt due to their contributions, but now he wants
a Mercedes so he lets Miguel sing until people dig deeper.
Scene 13
In a teaser scene, Ryan sits manacled. Kevin arrives.
