                           General Hospital Update
                                  Dec 13,'94

Monica is feeling depressed while laying down reading some magazines. Alan
comes in and Monica vents some rage. She wants to know why Alan came home. He
says to say hi, she says he's just afraid to leave her alone for a second in
case she decides to up and die. Monica claims that Alan shouldn't change his
outlook or daily routine as if she was well, Alan says baloney she does have
cancer and it has affected him. She says his behavior makes her nervous, he

           "Well, get over it!!!"   The remorse sets in on that statement and
they really start ending. Monica tries to claim priviledge, Alan tells her to
stuff it. They continue at it, till AJ comes in and inquires of Monica, and
pointedly Monica, how she was. AJ claims that Alan is acting in the manner
that Alan criticized AJ for. Alan leaves, AJ and Monica talk a bit. At the
end of the day Alan comes back and they make up.

Tony comes and visits Laura, who looks smashing. Laura maintains that her
premonition said Luke was in danger and not dead. Lucky comes into the apt
with Sly. Lucky didn't go to school. The two talk a bit [i ffed, bit of a
hurry this week]. Lucky claims, as Laura watches unseen, that the smart thing
would've been to go back underground. Laura makes her presence known and they
give each other support. The kids break up to do homework and Sly offers
Laura his full support and help.

Sonny visits Damien who is still with cane. Sonny wants to talk about the
oppurtunities presented by Frank's death. Damien says no talking till it is
figured out what role, if any, Sonny had in the death. Sonny said he had no
reason to kill Frank, that the two of them had a good relationship. Sonny
claims his power grab with Rivera was only to protect his people. Sonny ups
the stake by telling him that in order for Sonny to maintain his postition he
needs Damien's help and support. Sonny says he has all the connections,
Damien asks why Sonny needs him then. Sonny replies that Damien has access to
Franks cash and name. Sonny will operate the business, Damien can stay in the
background and not join the crime orginization. Damien asks if he agrees to
the deal, how can he be sure he won't attend a meeting and find himself
looking at Luke's gun. Sonny claims that even if Luke does show up, he would
keep the partnership secret. Sonny further explains his position that he
would run the orginization as a clean front to protect Damien and his own
legitimacy. Damien says he needs time to think about it. After Sonny leaves
Damien is thinking when KatyBel [wow, first of seen of her in a month.
looking very good.] arrives. Damien gives her a Big Kiss and tells her that
help has arrived in the person of Corinthos. KatyBel is incongrous about the
situation. Damien is riding high though and thinks it is great. They start
foreplay & she asks for one favor: will he use some of his power on the Q's.

Sonny goes back to the apartment and tells Stone that big things are coming.
Phone rings, it is Laura who wants to see him right away. Stone calls Robin
to reaffirm their date. Sonny rushes off to Laura, Robin comes. He shows her
the money that Sonny gave him and Robin gets the jitters and doesn't like the
way things are shaking. Sonny arrives at Laura to find out Laura wants to
know if Frank's thugs are going to come after her and the clan. Sonny assures
her and promises his protection.
