                        Jason as Bambi?

Never Is A Cruel, Cold Word (and a long, long time)
---------------------------------------------------
A bathrobe clad Lois accuses a towel clad Ned (yes!!!) of setting up the
fall into the pool, but Ned reminds her she was the one who suggested the
walk. When Lois protests that he grabbed her Ned says he was just holding
her and he plans to never, never let Lois go and suggests she get out of
her wet clothes. Ned even offers to turn his back but instead Lois decides
to use the bathroom. While there they carry on a conversation through the
closed door. Ned talks to himself and tells himself not to rush her and to
take his time. Lois hears him and Ned says he was just telling her to take
her time. As Lois changes they talk about the feelings Lois talked about
before they fell into the pool. Ned tells her he liked her calling him
Eddie. When he asks if she meant everything she said..of course she did,
she always means what she says. Lois admits it felt good to tell Ned about
her feelings out loud. Ned walks quickly to the door but gets a sad look on
his face when Lois says she's still mad at him. But Lois does admit she
does love him even if he doesn't deserve it. Ned asks if they don't both
deserve to be happy, her more than himself. Ned admits to Lois that Eddie
and Lois taught Ned how to love and now all Ned wants is a chance to love
Lois back. Lois comes out of the bathroom in that flowered dress in all
the promos. Ned likes it. The only thing that would be better would be
a towel, but for Lois is one of them in a towel is temptation enough. Lois
starts to call Ned, Eddie, then Ashton, it's confusing to Ned. He suggests
that she call him Ned, but Lois isn't ready for that and isn't sure she'll
ever be. Ned tells her never is a cruel, cold word and asks if they can't
work on it. When Lois tells Ned she's not sure where the feelings she has
for him came from, Ned speculates they were there all along but the anger
and hurt got in the way. Lois isn't ready to forgive Ned but she does miss
what they had. So does Ned. Lois is uncomfortable with Ned in just a towel
and suggests he get a bigger one or something else. As she throws him a
blanket the towel falls. Ned wraps himself in the blanket and wraps Lois in
it too. They start kissing and fall to the bed. There's a knock at the
door. Lois manages to stop and answers the door as a frustrated Ned sighs.
It's Ned clothes, all dry, and "Just in time." When we next see Ned and Lois
they are sitting on a rock overlooking the water. They both wonder where to
go next. What Lois wants she can't have...for Ned to have told her that first
morning in Buffalo that he's Ned Ashton and things could get complicated. But
as Ned points out, he didn't. So instead she asks Ned to return to Port
Charles. Ned will go even though he doesn't want to. At the limo Lois does
agree that Ned can see her when she returns to PC and before Ned gets in he
kisses her tenderly. As he is driven off Lois is deep in thought. (Now
something tells me the ELQ jet won't make it back to PC just yet.)

Frank Is Dead!!
---------------
In a repeat of Tuesday's cliffhanger we see Sean collapse and just as Frank
is about of finish him off Luke calls out to Frank. Frank misses Luke and
before he can get another shot off Luke hits Frank, not once but twice for
good measure. Luke gathers up Sean in a fireman's carry and heads off.
Meanwhile Brenda returns to their suite where Sonny is staring out the window.
Brenda rambles on about the venue. Sonny questions her about the security,
Brenda thinks it looks almost like an armed camp and wonders about Sonny's
fixation on security. She tries to find out what is bothering Sonny but he
won't give other than "opportunities." When she suggests he skip his 2 pm
meeting that's a no go. They hug but there's a knock at the door. It's an
out of breath Luke. Brenda is surprised to see him. Sonny asks that she go
into the other room. Brenda tries to listen but she can't hear them. Luke
tells Sonny, "Frank is dead." Luke relates what happened at the cemetery
and tells Sonny he dropped Sean at a nearby hospital, told them to call the
police and then slipped out the back. Sean will be ok. Sonny hopes to take
Rivera by surprise. For her safety, Sonny intends to send Brenda to the
concert site and if the meeting doesn't go as planned Sonny asks Luke to get
Brenda, Lois, Lily and Miguel (why Mophead...can't you leave him behind Sonny)
out of PR. When Sonny asks about Laura, Luke won't call her till it's all
over. After Luke leaves Brenda questions why Luke is in PR. Sonny won't
answer and asks her *not* to wait for him in the room but finish up the stuff
for the concert. Sonny leaves and when he is gone Brenda looks at her shoes.
Sonny walks across the hotel grounds to another building. He arrives at
Rivera's room who offers him coffee or a drink, but maybe they should wait for
Frank. "It'll be a long wait, Frank is dead," Sonny tells Rivera and Perez.
Meanwhile Brenda has followed Sonny and starts climbing the stairs to where
Rivera and Sonny are. Inside Rivera sends off his men in a flurry of Spanish
(anyone care to tell us non-Spanish speaking folks if there was anything
important said) and then finds out from Sonny that no, Sonny didn't have Frank
killed but yes it was someone Sonny knows who had his own agenda. Outside
Brenda creeps up closer but is grabbed by Rivera's men. Back inside Sonny
claims to be the fill the void at the head of Frank's organization and offers
to work one- on-one with Rivera. Sonny claims to have the support of the boys
in Chicago and NY and figures Rivera wouldn't want to fight Sonny over a
smaller piece of the pie. Before Rivera responds his men bring in a kicking
and screaming Brenda. Sonny tells she's his partner in L&B and *not* a spy
but Rivera doesn't buy it. Brenda will be "under his protection" until Sonny
reconsiders his ultimatum...Rivera doesn't like ultimatums.

Back in PC Damian shows up at Katherine's door with a bouquet of orchids.
She appreciates them but it's "Poor me" Katherine who is in shape because
there is nothing else to do but exercise. Damian tries to convince Katherine
to live confidently, as if you had all the money and power in the world
even if you don't, something Damian learned at this father's knee. Maybe
he's more Frank Smith's son that he'd like to admit. They both talk about
plotting revenge on the Qs, Lucy and Bobbie. Later they both start to wind
down with wine but Damian's back is bothering him. Katherine offers to give
him a massage. When she asks him to remove his shirt their passion for each
other takes over. Damian plans to make proper love to Katherine. They move
the bedroom when they haven't gotten fully undressed yet when Damian's cell
phone starts ringing and it won't stop. Since very few people have that
number Damian answers. It's Cusak wondering if Damian's been listening to
the radio. No. Cusak tells Damian his father was shot to death that
morning in Old San Juan. Damian's mouth quivers as the phone slips from
his ear.

Jason as Bambi?
---------------
At the Q's the maid announces Keesha to AJ but it's Jason of course that
she's there to see and AJ sends the maid off to get Jason while AJ offers
to entertain Keesha. Keesha offers her concern and her grandmother's concern
for Edward. It becames a mutual grandmother admiration society and when
AJ says he'd like to talk to and get to know MM Keesha invites him to the Ward
house. AJ agrees but only if he can take Keesha out for a bite to eat
afterwards. "No way," says Jason as he comes into the den. There's the
typical AJ/Jason war of words, as Jason figures AJ is trying to horn in on
his girl. AJ finally decides to leave, he's off to see Edward. Jason
apologizes but Keesha admits she enjoyed Jason's jealousy. Keesha and Jason
talk would probably done more but with all the family pictures in the room
there are a few Q ghosts after Keesha compares Jason to Bambi. They decide
to leave and Keesha wonders if they can go visit Edward if non-family
visitors are allowed. That's where they head as Jason wonders why Keesha
would want to get to know someone who has disapproved of.
