                           General Hospital Update
                               Tues Nov 29, '94

Sheesh how boring. No character development, plot forwarding or action.
^L                 NOT!!! However, a problem seemed to have occured with
                                my taping. See end of post.

Luke & Sonny talk about the upcoming meet with Frank in the cemetary. Sonny
doesn't know who on Frank's side knows about the meet. Lucy sees the
conversation. When the two split up, Lucy follows Luke. Eventually Luke sees
her following him. He loses her, backtracks and tells her to get lost. She
plays innocent. Luke-'You were following me' Lucy-'No, I wasn't' 'Yes you
were' 'No I wasn't' 'Was too' 'Was not' 'Was too' 'ok, I was.' Luke makes
sure she reenters the hotel before leaving in a car followed by Sean.

Sonny goes to the room where the L&B gang is. Lois asks and kids Sonny about
his other morning meeting he just had. Sonny says to cut it out. Brenda gives
him a very concerned look and hovers around him, looking for an entrance to
find out what is going on. She has allready figured out its mob connected.
Sonny tells her that he has a 2PM meeting that is 'his business'. Lois goes
over the schedule for the day. Sonny asks about security and demands that
cops be in the trailer with Mig and escort him to the stage. At this point
Lily figures out it is mob trouble. Everyone leaves, Brenda trying to calm
Sonny down. Brenda tells Sonny she knows something is wrong. Sonny wont talk.
Brenda wont take that answer anymore. They get into a little tiff.

Ned arrives. No rooms available, he offers a bribe. No really no rooms. A
japanese businessman unexpectadly arrived taking up all the extra rooms. Ned
uses the phone for a second, then gets a porter to deliver a message to Lois.
He follows the porter to Lois's room. Lois does let him in. After some bante,
Ned says he truly loves her. Lois wants proof of Ned's sincerity and that Ned
is Eddie and he isn't deranged. Ned says he might be off center, but he isn't
deranged and that he will not lie to her again. A tender moment starts to
develope but Lois breaks it. She leaves the room and they end up talking on
the veranda next to the pool. She basically tells him she is too good for
him, though she does remember the good times and vibes. He embraces and
kisses her, she pushes him off, they lose balance and fall into pool.

Brenda is talking to Lila. Brenda talks a bit about her relationship with
Julia. Lila tells her Ned is on the plane down to PR and that EdQ is better.
Alan and Lila make small talk in the library while Lee is pondering to
himself. Lee is thinking of Baldwin's murder. Lila wonders if the Q's should
go to his funeral. EdQ walks in at this point and starts ranting. Lee tells
him to take it easy, EdQ starts ranting some more when he suffers an attack.
Allan gets his father's back up. It is obvious this time that the attack is
very strong and EdQ is not up to fighting going to the hospital. Lila asks
Allan what happened to EdQ. Allan wont say yet, and wont Lila go to the
hospital. Reggie chats with Lila, tells her that EdQ is too ornery to die
right now. Lila wants to call Ned but Reggie says wait till there is
something to definitive to tell him. At the hospital Steve and Audry give EdQ
a hard time about not going to the hospital the first time. When they leave
EdQ complains to Allan about 'foolish doctors'. Alan tells him to start
taking better care of himself and take these 2 episodes as warning. EdQ asks
how is he supposed to handle the way his body handles stress and

"I'm certainly not going to face a wall in a lotus position and go 'Ommmmm'"
EdQ wants to talk about something else. Alan asks what can be more important
than his health. EdQ tells Alan that is more important how gratefull he is
for Alan's support during the trial. A son shouldn't have to go through
seeing his father put on trial for murder. EdQ says it looks like he will
serve time and he wants Alan to take care of Lila. Also, Alan should take it
easy on AJ and give him a break.

MaeMay visits Laura and asks what is wrong. Laura tells her that Luke went to
PR. MaeMay doesn't quite follow why the eniminity, so Laura fills her in and
all the trougbles of Frank, including Frank's backing of the attacks on Laura
and Justus (and Bill Eckhart). Laura then vents her anger over Frank and over
Lukes trip to PR. She then worries about Luke, and MaeMay tells her to keep
her faith and/or anger as a tether to Luke over the miles.

We see a couple of thugs walking the cemetary and Luke and Sean hiding in
different places. Frank comes by and we find out the Big Idiot is also a
klutz. He tips over a flower vase on one the graves as he gets up to follow
Frank. Frank turns and hits him in the shoulder with a gun shot. Frank
approaches the fallen Big Idiot (who dropped his gun) and gives him a
quizicall look of what the hell he is doing there. Luke then shouts from
behind Frank 'approbiate place for this, Frank' Frank turns and yells
'Spencer!?' and they exchange gun shots.

this is the last scene i have on tape. From other posts i've seen,
evidently more stuff happened. Feel free to append any info to this update.
