                          General Hospital Synopsis
                               Tues, Oct 25 '94

Whew, i almost had the wrong tape in again! OK, on with the program

Sonny & Brenda are ordering breakfast at Ruby's, Sonny's being one only a man
could love. Sonny is taking a 'last meal' because he has to tell Lois that
the man that shafted her is the man she has to work with in order to make the
business go. Brenda agrees it will be one tough sell after seeing the
defeciencies of just opening the door, telling Lois the state of affairs and
then closing the door before Lois can throw anything. Sonny tells Brenda
about the way Lois handled her high school boyfriends. Brenda is pessimistic.
The two procrastinate by ordering more food/coffee. Lilly come on down, for
her first day of work. She is excited about Mig going to PuertoRico. Mig came
by and i lost interest.

Ned goes to the studio, starts the tape machine and singing loudly. Lois
saunters on in, and asks Eddie [yes, she called him Eddie] what is he trying
to prove. He replies he's just showing up for work. Lois gives him one of her
looks. She tries to kick Ned out. Eddie tells her that they have a contract &
that any court would uphold it. Lois says she would love to see him in court.
He asserts it wouldn't come to that because of her reputation, the band and
all those cd's in the trunk of the car. Lois storms back at him. Ned tries to
seperate Ashton & Eddie Main. Ned then says Lois should seperate her emotions
for him from her business acumen. Lois flips. She tells him that if he was
showing any conscience she might do it, but he's just treating this like a
toy & game. He even has a grin on his face. Ned says he can't help it if he
is happy in her presence. Lois raises her voice, says she should've known Ned
was scum when he boiled the lobster alive. Ned claims she's not being
reasonable and is biting off her pretty nose despite her face. Woops. Lois
starts shouting, first with "Leave my nose out of this." She then reminds him
of all his lies. Ned says she is denying both of them their music dreams. That
did it. Lois starts dumping out the cd's & throwing them at Ned. He tries
dodging a few, then gets a chair for protection. Of course,right at this point
Brenda & Sonny come. They take cover as Brenda says: "Guess he told her."
The two of them go into the room and get a pause in the action. Lois, with
her arms fool of cd's, demands that they get the louse out before she kills
him. Sonny replies with great business acumen:
                        L I N E   O F   T H E   D A Y
"Well don't kill him with the potential profit, ok. They could become
collectors' items."      Sonny asks Lois in a way that leaves Lois really no
choice to reconsider promoting Idle Rich. Lois gives in with 3 conditions:
1) She doesn't have to speak to him
2) She will only see him at gigs & rehearsals
3) If she does kill him, Sonny & Brenda have to hire the best lawyer for her.
Ned first refuses, then when Brenda reminds it is take or leave it, he takes.

MM,Keisha,Jason & Luke are waiting in the hospital lobby. MM & Luke chat.
Sean comes in & asks why didn't any call him? Luke mentions that his corp of
blue have hardly done anything to instill confidence. Sean asserts that the
police are more up on things than Luke realizes. Sean offers his sympathy to
MM who tells she's had enough sympathy, she wants action. Sean & Luke get
into an argument about competence. Luke insists that Bobi stay watch over
Justus, since the police are such nincompoops.  Keisha & Jason tell Sean
about the phone call that threatened Jason and the whole Jason & Ned meeting.
Keisha mentions that Simone Hardy came by [was it my imagination or did MM
find this particularaly interesting?]. Tony comes by with the news that
Justus is in very critical shape, but evidently will not die. MM is allowed
to visit him in his room. She offers a prayer. Everyone pushes MM to go home
and rest. After resisting, something occurs to her & she goes. Once home, MM
gets Jason out to go study for his exams and gets Keisha busy preparing a
snack. MM then goes to a picture of Bradly, gives it a hug & sneaks out.

Back to Justus; we see him unconscience then we see him without the bandages.
He is having a vision. Bradly is by his bedside. Justus's heartbeat changes
on the monitors [not significantly according to Bobi]. Bradly tells Justus
that he is there for him, Justus replies that he is tired & wants to go home.

Monica is looking at the foliage as Alan [yeah, btw sounds like he has cold]
comes by. Monica was thinking of movie she saw as a kid about the devil being
stuck in a tree. As long as the devil was stuck, no one could die. The two
start talking about their relationship, Alan mentions the money they have and
suggests they use it on a vacation when Monica is better. [nice music]

EdQ is fuming about Justus' rebuttal to Lila. Lila joshes with him for a bit
& tells him that he is drinking too much coffee. EdQ says Lila should run for
office, an idea Lila starts playing with much to EdQ's chagrin. Reginald [if
Annabelle didn't try to bump off KatyBel then he did] announces Mrs Ward. MM
comes in & tells EdQ that she is there on Justus's behalf.
