                      Genral Hospital Partial* Synopsis
                               Tues, Oct 18,94
*tape stopped at approx 45 min. mark

Lois & Brenda rush into the ER, all a flutter. Doc Hardy walks by and gives
them the dope on Ned. Tony looks at x-rays in Ned's room and asks Ned for
more info on what happened. Tony orders up more tests, and Ned is going to
stay overnight. Tony leaves and Lois rushes up to him and asks if Ned is
going to die. Lois is just out of her skull. Tony tells her Ned is fortunate,
Ok & that it is only minor abrasions on Ned's forehead. Lois calms down then
goes into her mathamatical mode. Ned was driving fast, hits a tree and only
gets a scratch. She then asks Tony:
                        L I N E   O F   T H E   D A Y
                          "Any signs of laryngitis?"
The 2 docs give some more info then part. L&B go to Ned's room. Brenda is
there first, asks Ned if his Ok and Neds starts moaning 'Lois,Lois' in his
hammy way [oh, in case you don't know, Ned faked the accident]. Lois is not
buying the act, though Brenda apparantly is. Lois approaches Ned's bed, with
an unpleasant look in her eyes. Ned says he's suprised Lois came. Lois pumps
Ned for info on the accident. Ned goes into a whole spiel over how distraught
he was over there situation and how life was nothing without her. Lois
catches the act, pours a cup of ice water. Ned reaches out his hand, says
thanks. Lois smiles pertly, drinks the water and dumps the pitcher on Ned.

Lucy opens the door to Kevin bearing flowers & champagne. She's suprised that
he is so romantic. She asks how he knew what her fav champagne is, and he
replied he looked for the most expensive one. Lucy has lit about 200 candles.
Kevin hopes that her intentions are less than honorable. Lucy asks if there
any rules she should know about before she gets up a full head of steam.
Kevin says 'Yep, sure is.' No mentioning of Damien or Luke, Lucy says fine
and adds Filly to the list. They drink champagne, then start foreplay. Lucy
puts in a pause and demands that they eat some mussels, the perfect erotic
appetizer. They feed each other and play with each other & the food. They get
into hot and heavy gear [with a song i did not recognize] in various
positions. They ended up short due to Kevin getting the hives [i didn't see
this part, but caught this nugget in another post.]

AJ is holding a pumpkin and watching Monica sleep. Moica awakes and asks what
time it is. Its dinner time. Monica is having a bad day, and will skip
dinner. She goes to the restroom. AJ sits by the fire, playing with the
pumpkin when Monica comes out. The pumpkin is a present for Monica. AJ tells
Monica that he can't come to grips with his Mother being in her present
condition. Monica starts reminising (sp?) about the 2 boys and their first
pumpkin escapade. AJ tries to give her a "go for it" type of speech. They
huddle together as they try to commiserate each other. AJ & Monica talk some
more about the bad old days, when the boys were young. Monica changes her
mind & decides to go down for supper, with AJ's help.

The Rev of the Charles St Church introduces Justus as a candidate. Justus
gives a campaign speech which i FFed. MM looks pleased, EdQ uncomftorble.
After the speech wild applause. MM sits down and looks with concern at EdQ
who is in front of her. MM then gives a support speech. Followed by EdQ
taking the podium to all's suprise, except Luke who is chuckling at the
effect. EdQ backs Justus in general, allthough he makes it clear he will not
backup Justus on all matters. Justus does not look happy, even when EdQ gives
a campaign contribution. Justus refuses EdQ's support, but EdQ throws
Justus's insult back in his face via "Apparantly it is a lot easier to preach
about community between people then to actually practice it". Tiffany gives a
rather tepid, awful report.
