From: chips@eskimo.com (:crp:) Subject: GH: Update Tues 1011 Date: Wed, 12 Oct 1994 18:41:24 GMT General Hospital Synopsis Tues Oct 11, 1994 well after an incredible string of pretty terrific Tuesdys, this was a dog. In fact, a plot hole was left wide open, IMHO. The business of New Zealand Whale with Deception makes no sense what so ever. Oh well, on with the show. ---------------------------------------------------------- Bobi & Tony meet at a nurses station. Bobi asked if he got her note about taking Lucas to Ruby's birthday party. Tony is all bent out of shape that he wasn't asked first if he had any plans for Lucas that night [uh,excuse me, but wasn't that the purpose of the note?]. The two spar for a couple of rounds then part on somewhat amiable terms. Tony declines an invite. Luke closes down Ruby's to prepare for the party. Lucy comes by and sees that it's closed but that there is a light on. She pounds on the door and makes a big scene. Luke rushes to the door, lets her in and makes her taste the chili he's making before telling her why he called her. He has the goods on Damien. Lucy is excited, hugs & clinches Luke, and says 'I adore you!'. Luke responds L I N E O F T H E D A Y "Yeah, everybody does." Luke, while chopping vegtables, explains to Lucy the money laundering scheme involved with New Zealand Whale Co. Lucy wants to gloat in Damien's face but Luke warns her that Damien might still have enough venom left for one strike. (Lucy has been munching on stuff this whole time and Luke has been using various veggies when talking with his hands) Lucy says she wants to tell someone the good news and Luke invites her to come back for the party. Lucy says thanks and takes a bite out of the veggie Luke is holding. It's a jalepeno. Luke warns her not to sample at random. Lucy leaves and [UUGGHH, OH NO, A MIGUEL SCENE] and a couple of PuertoRicans come in to take one of the apartments in the back for Lily. Robin & Stone come in with the balloons. Eventually the place fills up with some people, including Sonny [!] and Ruby comes in and gets suprised. Jason & Keisha walk in and MM gives a very concerned look at them. Ruby talks to Bobi about the Jones family matters. KatyBel is still under wraps. Ned comes to visit. Amy tells him that the next 48 hours are crucial. Either patients get better or they slip all the way down. Amy further informs him that talking may help, since no one knows how much comatose people are aware of. Ned sort of ranks her out. Wants to know why she couldn't just fold in her tents. Ned says despite it all, he is sorry about what happened. A semi conversation occurs with Ned and the out-of-body voice of KatyBel. She thinks he poisoned her & when he says her current situation is worse than death, and a type of purgatory she swears to see him in hell. Ned leaves, wishing her well. Ned next visits Damien. Ned gives a contract detailing terms of Damien's sale of stock to ELQ. Damien says "What?". Ned tells Damien that ELQ knows now how Damien got the money. The board has decided to buy out Damien as opposed to getting the feds involved with RICO and all. Damien tries to deny knowledge of New Zealand Whaling Co. but Ned says cut the garbage. This is a limited time offer. Damien tries talk his way out of it. Ned ain't buying. Damien signs and is now the proud owner of a LOT of cash. Ned is convinced that Damien will seek revenge, but is willing to take his chances. Damien then visits KatyBel and talks to her about their situation. He tells her that after he pays back his father and his bills he will be broke. On top of that, he has lost KatyBell as well. KatyBel's voice says she loves Damien [duh]. Damien promises KatyBel that vengance will be his. Filly comes for a checkup and on the way meets with Tony. She tells him the baby is Frisco's. They talk about the reactions of Mac & Frisco to the news. Filly is not sure if she should even tell Frisco. Tony tells her that it can't be known if Frisco will change his carreer path on the news of a 2nd child unless Frisco is told. Lucy rushes into Kevin's office and tells Kevin the news about Damien. The two banter a bit. Lucy asks Kevin if he wants to come to the party with her. Kevin asks since when is he a friend of Ruby's. Lucy says he must come since she has been triumphant in all her tangles. Kevin asks if that means he is destined to a broken back or being comatose. Lucy asks "What coma?". Kevin gives her an incredolous look. Kevin fill her in on the way to the elevator. They bump into Filly where upon Lucy makes an ass of herself. Everybody, including Lucy & Kevin are at the party. MM & Keisha have an argument about MM watching Keisha & Jason. Luke warns Sonny about possible fall out from the Q's breaking Damien. Tony suprises by showing up. A cake comes out and Ruby looks pointedly first at Bobi then at Tony before blowing out her candles. ============================= ps: can anyone explain how Luke figured out the money laundering?
