                            GH Update for 09/30/94
                            By John R. Andrews, UIC

Scene 1
Lois returns to the gatehouse and encounters the Abominable Audile [look it
up] who comforts her with a hug. [gag]

Scene 2
An unshaven and unkempt Kevin is interrupted by a visit from Felicia while
he works on his drawings. She says she needs moral support.

Scene 3
Kylie Quinlin calls Luke's, but reaches Lucky. She says she is coming to PC
with information about the Bradley Ward case and needs to see Luke and
Justus.

Scene 4
Luke and Sonny check out Sonny's club which Luke wants to lease. "You can
have everything," Sonny says, "except that pole. There's sentimental
memories attached to it."

Scene 5
Luke is concerned that Sonny and he might have disagreements, but Sonny
assures him that he, Luke, runs the place.

Scene 6
Lois and Miguel banter about her and Ned and him and Lily.

Scene 7
Kevin tells Felicia that he can't get Grace out of his mind or dreams. She
begs him to go out with her because she needs the moral support since the
paternity tests are due in that evening.

Scene 8
Brenda arrives at the gatehouse and tells Lois there's a big Q meeting that
evening at Katherine's demand.

Scene 9
Lila and Reginald chat about the family problems and Katherine. Reginald
seems a bit more protective of Lila than usual especially with respect to
Katherine.

Scene 10
Ned and Lila discuss Lois. He tells her how much he loves Lois. Lila offers
to talk to her and relate a few of her "war stories." Alan and Monica
arrive for the meeting, and Ned apologizes for making Monica endure this
when she should be concentrating on recovering. He says one way or another
Katherine will be out of there tonight.

Scene 11
Sonny and Luke discuss Ned/Eddie. Luke is amused by Ned's antics. Sonny
says he'll eventually get everything smoothed out.

Scene 12
The Q's bicker among themselves awaiting Katherine's appearance. Finally,
she arrives [Reginald acts suspiciously when getting a drink for her] and
begins to make demands. She threatens to go to Sean and rat on Alan then to
her lawyer to sue Ned for bigamy. Lois arrives at the door to join the
meeting. Reginald asks how she'd like to be announced, "Ms. Cerullo, Mrs.
Main, or Mrs. Ashton?" "Good question," she replies.

Scene 13
Luke and Lucky banter about blues music. Lucky tells him Kylie Quinlin is
headed to PC with new information.

Scene 14
Lily and Miguel do something, but I can't really tell what since my finger
jumped on its own to the FF button and refused to move.

Scene 15
As Katherine continues her rantings, Reginald introduces, "Mrs. Ashton."
"Hi, in-laws," Lois announces.

Scene 16
Lois asks if she can continue to use the gatehouse for L&B Records.
Everyone agrees, except Katherine, of course. Amusingly, Katherine tells
Lois she must divorce Ned, but Ned says he'll never remarry Katherine no
matter what; Lois snaps that she's not divorcing Ned, but still may never
speak to him again.

Scene 17
Kevin and Felicia sit at the Outback and await the time to call the lab for
the paternity results. When she gets up to make the call, Kevin imagines
that he sees Grace at another table and freaks out temporarily, knocking
over the table. She returns with the results.

Scene 18
Kevin tells her she must tell Mac the results immediately. She goes to the
bar, and Mac asks point blank, "Are you carrying my baby?"

Scene 19
Kylie Quinlin comes to see Luke and Justus and gets right to the point, "I
know who stopped the investigation," she declares, "and I think I know who
killed him."

Scene 20
Ned tells Katherine that if she goes to the police, he will make her look
like a pathetic grasping witch, and he will make sure Joe Healy knows
everything about her embezzlement. Katherine storms out of the room and up
the stairs to get her belongings, but as she gets to the top she collapses
and tumbles down the stairs. [Jeez, thank goodness this wasn't Bobby; she
may have caused more damage than the last earthquake.]
