Date: Tue, 27 Sep 1994 11:12:58 CDT From: U14780@uicvm.uic.edu Subject: GH: Update for Mon 09/26/94 By: kathy%gundog@lbl.gov (Kathy Ellington) General Hospital Update for Monday, September 26 The "Underwear Update" follows, so...IN BRIEF...here it comes! It's early morning at the Outback and Doc Tony wanders in, seeking breakfast and a bit of company. Filly gives him some coffee and they talk. She tells him he's going to be an uncle again and Tone Loc is overjoyed at the news. They hug warmly and he assures her that Uncle Tone will always be there. Filly beams radiantly at him. At Robin's house, she's on the phone with her co-conspirator Stone. They congratulate each other on pulling off their "skunk job" on Unkie Mac. Robin hangs up hurriedly when she hears Mac coming downstairs. In his clunky, obvious way, Mac tries to pin the skunk smell in his car on Robin. He accuses her and Stone of taking his car, driving it to the concert, hitting a skunk and re-parking the car in the Outback's lot. Robin gets huffy at his accusations and storms off to school. When Mac arrives at the Outback, he tries out his "skunk theory" on Filly and Cousin It [a thousand thanks to the person who pointed out Miguel's resemblance to the Addams Family's Cousin It]. They mumble around and don't think Robin would hoodwink her Unkie...it's left unresolved for the time being. Sonny has zoomed to the Cerullo Home in Brooklyn. He and Ma Cerullo have a nice talk about the old times and the newer, stranger times. Ma doesn't want to have her baby girl hurt any more but Sonny promises that he'll look out for Lois, should she decide to return to Port Chuck. Finally he speaks to Lois alone and cajoles her into returning to L&B Records; the company can't survive without her. She agrees to return PC, but doesn't want to have anything to do with the Nedling or her ex-girlfriend Brenda. At May-Mae's house, she and Justus are in the living room when Luke arrives. Luke has found a possible residence for Justus (a house on a nearby street) and he wants Justus to see it. Justus doesn't want to be pressured into buying anything, but he knows he's got to establish residence in PC before he can run for the vacancy on the city council. MM starts ragging on him to stop putting things off and get on with his life! They start to yap at each other but Luke breaks them up. There's a knock at the door and Big Sean wanders in. He informs them that Bradley was killed with a 9mm German Luger, 4" barrel, shot by a one-eyed, one-armed tattooed man who had a pronounced limp and who had once been a US Senator [just kidding about the last part]. They discuss the exotic origin of the gun and that it might be part of a collection. A light bulb goes off over Luke's head and he makes his exit. Meanwhile, at the Quartermaine mansion, Edward and Ned are in the living room discussing his wives. Edward has trouble grasping the fact that Ned has proclaimed his undying love for Lois; Edward suggests he divorce her and keep her on the side! Ned looks with disgust on his grandfather and repeats, slowly and carefully, that he's crazy about Lois and that Edward had better get used to it. Shortly thereafter, Luke arrives and wants to see Edward; Ned exits. Luke has come to get a glimpse of the famous Quartermaine Gun Collection, featuring a couple of 9mm German Lugers with 4" barrels. Edward assumes Luke has come about Foster's "death" and Edward's part in the fiasco, he's worried that Luke will extract some Spencer revenge. Edward apologizes for causing Lucky any sadness and offers some money to help the Spencers replace Foster. Luke mentions that they're going to find another dog that looks just like Foster, but he's afraid the dog will be expensive. Edward coughs up $500 toward a new pet for Lucky. Luke then engages Edward in a conversation about the gun collection. When he's finished with the Q's, Luke hurries back to May-Mae's house and calls Sean. As Justus looks on, Luke tells Sean that Eddie the Q has a couple of Lugers in his collection. end end end send comments, questions, and flames to kathy%gundog@lbl.gov end end
