Brenda tells him that Lois is GONE and she wouldn't be surprised if she never came back. Brenda is angry at Ned for mishandling everything and she is angry at herself for letting Lois down. Ned vows that he will win Lois back. Brenda is doubtful. While Ned heads for the main house, Sonny arrives at the gate houselooking for Lois. Brenda tells him she's gone. Sonny, showing good manners, inquires about Lois'emotional state before calculating the damage the charade may have done to L&B Records. He barrates Brenda for not confiding in him a long time ago. He tells her that she is untrustworthy, she purposely suckered her two best friends (himself and Lois) into pouring their dollars and souls, respectively, into a business deal that Brenda KNEW was going to go BOOM eventually. Brenda tells him that she will not give up her shares in L&B but will act as a silent partner so that neither Sonny nor Lois will have to deal with her anymore. Sonny, touched by her obvious remorse, let's her off the hook. They wonder where Lois is. ******************************************************************** The Q's Ned arrives to a hornets nest. Everyone in the family has their hackles up over the evenings debacle. They are worried that Ned has sent Alan up the river. Ned, unable to get a word in edge- wise, continues to tell them that there is nothing to worry about. Finally, he tells them how he managed to get Katherine and Damien by the shorts. The family is very pleased and decides to use the information to manipulate K&D instead of throwing them out on their ears (like most rational people would have done). Ned also tells the family that he is going to find Lois and beg her to forgive him. That he wants to try to keep his singing career as well has his ELQ career. (This was a good scene. The family ribs him regarding his leather pants, and Ned is quite sweet when he speaks of Lois to the family. Edward is not sure she will fit into the corporate image, and Ned tells him point blank that Lois doesn't have to FIT IN anywhere. She is perfect, just the way she is.) He vows to find her and drag her back by the hair. ******************************************************************* Lois Lois is on the dark, sad, lonely highway in her convert VW Bug. (I loved that, it really suits her). She is crying, and the radio is playing an endless parade of love songs, and then the Idle Rich come one and she reminisces. She is so overwhelmed that she pulls over and crys on the side of the road. All together now, AAAWWWWHHHH:( ****************************************************************** Cuckold and Dimentia In Dematoid's hospital room, Katherine arrives and holds his hand while he sleeps. She is very sad and looks defeated. Damien wakes up and they discuss the evening. In what appeared to be true sincerity, Damien is supportive and seems to care about Katherine. She tells him that she can't sue for bigomy because the Q's can implicate her AND Damien. Her for embezzlement and him for software copyright infringement. She handed over a software design which he sold as his own. He isn't too worried. He tells her they need to sit back and wait till the right time for revenge. (These kids never learn). Katherine, still distraught, flings her self across Damiens lap. Damien says he thinks he feels something...... [Beavis Voice On: Uhhhh Uhhhh I think I'm getting a stiffy!!! BV Off] Dr Tony comes in and plays with the D-meister's foot and tells Damien that it is a good sign. The swelling is going down on his spine and he may want to hold up on that lawsuit. Tony leaves and Katherine and Damien share a special moment. They are grateful to have each other because no one else gives a damn about them. ****************************************************************** Mae Mae May I be brief? PLEASE...... In a nutshell, Justis is trying to come to grips with the circumstances surrounding his father's death. He was a family man, and had two chicks on the side, and supposedly quit in the middle of something so important to him. Mae Mae compares him to Dr. King, Malcolm, and other men of vision and hope. She tells him that she couldn't let his light die for all the people who followed it. So she covered it up. They agree that it is time they came forward with their story before it gets told by someone else. Meanwhile, Luke is turning over Mae Maes gunshot story over and over and over and over and ...... oh sorry.....
