Mixed (?) Signals What Happened to Damian or How's the Twisted Turkey? ---------------------------------------------------- At GH Luke tries to find out where Bobbie is from Amy when Tiff gets off the elevator asks where Damian is. She had heard on the police scanner that Lucky had found Damian in the catacombs and she wants to know how he is. Lukes tells her...Damian owes Lucky his life. Amy leaves telling Luke "his friend" is about to arrive in ICU. Tiff tries to get information about Damian's accident from Luke but to get her off the subject he tells her about Foster the fugitive. Then he informs her he has Councilman Blake on tape accepting a bribe to switch sides on the incinerator issue. With Justus to be at Friday's open city council news and Jason to make a speech they decide to drop the bomb (tape) at the meeting with Tiff and her full camera crew in attendance to broadcast it live. [Not the only bomb to drop on Friday!] Luke hopes it will derail the incinerator project and make it so there will be no more danger to Laura and Lulu. He promises a big party when Madonna and child return. Tiff goes off in search of Alan or Steve to get info about Damian. Luke is left "exhausted." Elsewhere in GH Tony and a fellow doctor discuss Damian's surgery. Bobbie comes by and thanks Tony. He wants to know is she thanking him for doing his job or for saving her lover from paralysis (ouch!). Bobbie snaps back at Tony and leaves. Alan wants to tell Tony the full picture. Alan tells Tony about Bobbie's part in Damian getting hurt. Alan admits it was a brilliant plan and almost wishes he could have done something like that to Damian. However Tony still sees Bobbie as obsessed with Damian. Even when Alan tells Tony how much Bobbie hates Damian for what he's done to her Tony reminds Alan that love is a close relative of hate. Tony also realizes Bobbie could be in serious trouble with people knowing about her plan to lure Damian to the catacombs. Luke questions Bobbie about that same issue. She doesn't think Damian will come after her but Luke reminds her Damian is a snake and should Damian go after Bobbie Luke will be standing right behind her. Alan runs into Bobbie and asks how she is. She admits it was strange in OR, watching Tony operate on Damian, knowing Tony hates Damian, herself watching Damian and hating Damian, and watching Tony and ...Alan says...loving Tony. She realizes now (gee finally Bobbie) what she's done to Lucas, Tony and herself. Alan warns her of the repercussions but he'll stand by her. Lucy arrives, sees Luke near the nurses station and asks him what happened to Damian. She wonders if someone is after Damian besides the two of them. It's not to Lucy's liking, she wants to be the one to get him for all he's done to Bobbie, Tony, Lucas and yes to Lucy. Next Lucy pigeonholes Tony and finds out Tony operated. She can't believe it but Tony points out the oath he took. Tony tells Lucy Damian snapped his back like a twig and that Damian could be paralyzed. [Oh...what does this do to your scheming Lucy?] Damian has been settled in ICU. Amy is checking the IV and guess who is looking in the window from the waiting room, none other than Katybell. Katherine pleads as only Katybell can with Amy to let her go into Damian's room even though she's not a relative. She finds out Damian broke his back and they won't know for several days if he'll be paralyzed. Once in there Katybell tells Damian it'll be ok and she'll take care of him. Lucy arrives at Damian's room. She looks through the window...he's not allowed to die, she needs to make him wish he were dead. Lucy questions Amy why Katybell is in there. It was Amy's call since Damian has no family there. Amy orders Lucy to stay out of Damian's room. Lucy is staying..to see Katherine. Katherine comes out and they go at it. Lucy pokes at Katybell about being an "old" friend of Damian's. They snip at each other until Katherine notices Damian's head moving. In she goes and Lucy follows. His eyes open and Katherine smiles at him. Tiff catches up with Alan to get the scoop. She finds out that Tony did the operation...oh..estranged husband operates on lover...it's a story.. no...just a joke but she still needs to report on Damian being hurt. When she finds out Bobbie could be implicated she agrees to do the story from a public safety angle about the accessibility of the catacombs to try to keep Bobbie out of the story. Bobbie runs into Tony as he's about to make one more check on Damian before heading out. When she asks how Damian is Tony says no change...meaning both that Damian's condition hasn't changed and that she's still obsessed with Damian. Bobbie's choice of words...an attempt to get him back... describing her plan...is interesting to Tony. She tries to say it was vengance but Tony doesn't believe she's taken her focus off Damian and wonders what will happen if Damian decides to even the score. Bobbie figures it can't be any worse than it's already been. Meanwhile back at Damian's room he demands that Bobbie be brought to him. Mixed (?) Signals ----------------- At the Outback Lily comes in and asks Robin for Miguel. Lily finds out from Robin that Miguel is to sing on Friday and if she wants to see him she should make reservations. So Lily does, in the name of Lopez. Robin also tells her Miguel tends bar during the week and is due in. Lily wants to wait for him. Robin isn't quite sure but will ask "the boss." Mac says ok. Figures the girl is the first of many fans for Miguel. Meanwhile at L&B Miguel is about to record his new song despite the early hour. It's either then or at 2 am after he's done at the Outback. While Miguel sings he flashes back to times with Lily but instead of returning to Miguel, we see Lily at the Outback looking at a photo of herself and Miguel. Back at L&B Miguel finishes recording [why do *I* get him recording????]. They all think it's the best and they decide to celebrate with Lois paying. Ah, but Miguel has to set up for lunch at the Outback. Brenda wants to go along, but Lois decides to stay behind, listen to the new song again and work on some marketing ideas. Brenda has a marketing idea of her own, sell the CD's at the Outback. At the Outback Mac startles Lily from her daydream. When he introduces himself she introduces herself as Priscilla. She says she's just a fan when Mac asks if she's a friend of Miguel's. When Brenda and Miguel arrive at the Outback in high spirits about the new CD they don't even see Lily. When Mac finally remembers "she's there" a dismayed Lily has slipped out. Till Next Time [and please no more Miguel recording sessions!!!] -- Nancy J.
