                             Tuesday Sept 6,1994

                   Tears and Anxiety at the Outback
                                            Studio
                                            Hospital
                   The N/Ed stories continue (for now)

i didn't see a substitute update posted, so here is a shorty.

Tiff visits Filly in the office, sees her crying. Filly tells her all about
the pregnancy, parentage and Mac. Tiff then tries to buck up Mac, who seems
resigned to the situation. At the end of the day Mac & Filly come to terms.

Lois pops in to work and sees Brenda crying in the dark. Brenda is upset
about her fight with Sonny. TPTB finally show us Brenda's real hair, which is
starting to grow back. The story line has it as Brenda cutting and butchering
it. Lois gives a trim and a brief history of Sonny as best she knows. Guess
what? Sonny's stepfather was a cop! Brenda calls Sonny and they decide to get
together. Brenda wants to analyze their argument & relationship to death.
Sonny aint happy that Lois butted in. It finally comes out that his stepdad
would always take his words, twist them and throw them back. One of the
reasons he can't stand it when Brenda tries to analyze his every word.

Alan and Bobi talk Damien and Tony into having Tony do the surgery. The two
active participants reluctantly agree. As Damien is going under, Tony gives
him a little pep talk, to which Damien responses with
                         L I N E  O F   T H E   D A Y
                         "Uunnnhhhhhh"     [hey it was a slow day,long ago]
Alan calls Monica to see how she is and tells her about Damien. Monica tells
Lila & KatyBel and KatyBel rushes out.(see below) Trouble arises in surgery.

N/Eed pops into the studio. He asks Lois what she feels about birthdays. They
talk about past ones and make lovy-dovy.

KatyBel goes to the den where she encounters Lila. KatyBel asks for opinions
on how and where to celebrate KatyBel's birthday. They start having a
'discussion' and Lila verbally pounces KatyBel. Monica comes in, with a real
bithchy attitude. She wont accept words of comfort or concern from anyone.
