Date: Tue, 16 Aug 1994 12:23:50 CDT From: U14780@uicvm.uic.edu Subject: GH: Update for Mon 08/15/94 By: kathy%gundog@lbl.gov (Kathy Ellington) >>> General Hospital Update for Monday, August 15 <<< Bobbie and Tony -- Still on the Outs ============================================================================== They have a brief, not-unfriendly encounter in the halls of GH. Bobbie tells him she enjoyed seeing him last night and when can they have a longer meeting? Tony replies, somewhat enigmatically, that doesn't know. She presses him to explain and he says that he just can't move past his emotions when he sees her in he same room with Damian. He tells her that he can't help but picture them together...their sweaty bodies heaving in sync, headboard slamming rhythmically onto a cheap hotel wall, voices climbing the register into keening animal wails...uh...er...ummm...oops! must have gotten off the track. Anyway, Bobbie and Tony leave it unresolved. Damian Continues to Needle Lucy about the "New" Bet ============================================================================== He runs into Lucy at the PC Hotel and immediately starts shoveling the old BS at her about the "new" bet that she can't seduce Luke Spencer. Damian dangles Deception as the prize if Lucy wins the beg [although she hasn't called him on just HOW he intends to deliver Deception if she's wins]. Lucy tells him she's not interested in a new bet and besides, she thinks Luke is a total psycho. Damian taunts her that she's afraid to take Luke on; again, she rejects the bet and leaves. Damian looks after her and smirks. Tiff and Laura in another Cry Fest; Lesley-Lu is Threatened ============================================================================== In Laura's room at GH, Tiff has arrived bearing baby gifties. Lots of oodgie- woodgie-poodgie stuff about the baby. Laura tells Tiff that she's still fear- ful of the bad guys who threatened her about the toxic thingy..."they're still out there!" she said with eyes as big as soup plates. Meanwhile, Big Sean has posted one of PCPD's finest officers [not Officer Johnson, we hope] outside Laura's door for protection. Later on, Sonny visits Laura and brings her a big pot of flowers. He invites Luke to the Outback that night, to hear Miguel sing. Laura makes Luke accept the offer. In private, Sonny and Luke mull over who could have sent the thugs to harass Laura. Sonny doesn't think they're pros. Tiff and Sonny have left and Luke and Laura are alone with the baby. Luke fusses around Lesley-Lu and Laura gets all teary-eyed and tells Luke how much she really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really no, I mean REALLY loves him. [I may have lost count on the "reallys" because my fast-forward-finger slipped onto the button and I couldn't pry it loose until the next commercial] Final scene of the show, a nurse carrying a tray walks down the hall. The PCPD guard lets her into Laura's room. Laura is sleeping and the nurse picks up Lesley-Lu and sits down at Laura's bedside, waking her up. The nurse says what a beautiful, healthy baby little LL is and Laura agrees, all Mommy-smiley. Then nursie says that if Laura wants the baby to stay healthy, she'd better back off the toxic protest. Filly needs someone to lean on...I don't think it's going to be Kevin! ============================================================================== The ever-expanding Filly visits Kevin in his office at GH. He's just put another of his awful oil paintings on the wall [and that painting looked like it was pretty WELL hung to me!]. He asks her if she's told Mac about the baby yet and she responds by talking about the ugly picture. Kevin explains that he paints to ease his tortured psyche...Filly responds with "duhhh". They talk baby-talk again and she reveals that no, she has not told Mac yet. In fact, she is seriously considering not telling him and having the child on her own. Also, the baby may, in fact, belong to Frisco. Kevin urges her to establish paternity via medical testing, but Filly is reluctant to do so. They talk and eventually we learn that, for a variety of reasons (that Mac broke up with HER and not the other way around, that Mac is using phrases like "getting on with your life" "what we had is in the past" "moving forward" and "get outta my way, you blonde bimbo loser"), once he knows about the baby Felicia is afraid that Mac will feel manipulated into staying close to her. Also, Mac doesn't know that she had sex with Frisco. Oh, what a tangled web! Then Kevin goes into a long spiel about men's rights and tells her that Mac has a "right" to know about the baby [yah, pal, blab on about men's rights but we all know that the only "rights" men have is to hand over their paychecks, perform ALL of our auto maintenance and take out the garbage once a week in exchange for the "right" to sleep with us!]. Anyway, Filly wants to break the spell in Kevin's office and so she invites him to dinner at the Outback Club that night. Maybe she'll work up the courage to tell Mac by then. He accepts. Later on, when they arrive at the Outback, Mac makes some snide remarks at Kevin before they get to their table. Filly goes over to tell Mac about the baby and he apologizes for picking at Kevin and tells Filly that if Kevin is her new paramour, it's okay with him. He says that she has his blessing [what a pompous asshole!]. Filly says Kevin is just a friend and returns to K's table, having chickened out of telling Spam about her condition. While Filly is away, Kevin spies Lucy talking to Luke at another table. She wants Kevin to think she is "testing the waters", so to speak, with Luke and asks him about Laura and the delivery of Lesley-Lu. For Kevin's sake, she makes it look like she's flirting with the Luke-ster, who is innocently waiting for Sonny. Kevin assumes she's taken Damian's bet and hurries over to quack at Lucy when Luke vacates the table. Knowing that she has indeed yanked his chain, Lucy tells Kevin that NO, she has NOT taken Damian's bet and doesn't intend to. Those kitty-lips start twitching overtime! Bulwark Still Playing Head-Games with Dangerous Damian ============================================================================== Bobbie breaks into Damian's room again, even though he just had the locks changed. She's brought a love note, roses and perfume in a big bag and has just settled down on the couch when she hears people outside the door preparing to enter. She grabs her stuff and scampers into the closet, leaving the door ajar to see what's happening. Two workmen enter; they are there to install Damian's special surveillance camera. Bobbie hides out the entire time they are there. After they leave, she realizes that she's trapped in the closet; the camera will film her when she opens the door to leave. She roots through D's clothes and selects an ugly sports coat, which she holds in front of her like a shield. She scampers over and drapes it over the camera, then she takes out her lipstick and writes on the coat "not this time, maybe the next". She safely makes her escape. Later on, when Damian returns to his room, he's extremely PO'd to find the message on the jacket. He plays back the tape but sees nothing because of the jacket covering the camera. > end > end > end > send comments, questions, and flames to kathy%gundog@lbl.gov > end > end
