                           General Hospital Update
                            Tuesday August 9, 1994

         Morning Encounters:        At the lighthouse
                                    In the studios
                                    In the hospital

Kevin is in his bathrobe enjoying his morning coffee and looking out the
window. He slowly walks to the door and calls out 'Good Morning, Lucy'. She
tries to say she was just jogging by. He lets her that he has seen her for
the past 20 minutes. Eventually, Lucy gets Kevin to make her cappacino and
join him. Kevin somehow makes a sexual escapade out of describing the proper
way to make cappacino [either that or i have a really dirty mind]. Kevin
quickly gets down to brass tacks and asks about her and Damien. Lucy tells
him about Damien's offer to extend the bet. Kevin explodes when Lucy doesn't
say she turned it down. When Lucy explains that the bet would be on her this
time, he doesn't feel much better. Lucy starts running through the names of
possible men and when she gets to Kevin says he is "out of the question", to
which Kevin responds with "That may be truer than you think."
Kevin can't believe Lucy is even thinking about it. She says she is not
gullible, so Kevin should stop worrying about her. Kevin replies,
                          L I N E  O F  T H E  D A Y
"You can take care of yourself, it's the hapless citizens of this town that
own my concern today."

Sonny walks in and sees Brenda self-dancing while listening to the
headphones. They start nuzzling until Sonny hears that its Miguel singing.
Brenda calls him on his jealousy and he explodes. She explodes in return and
they go to seperate corners. They talk and Brenda asks Sonny if he was ever
in love. Sonny replies once,passionatly with ... a basketball team. Brenda
complains that Sonny never says his feelings. She wants something 'real', not
territorial or sexual. His response: she makes his blood boil, when ever he
sees her face he just wants to stop and make love. They kiss.

Luke and Lucky are watching babyGirl Spencer. Tony comes in and Luke tells
him that they kicked him out of Laura's room but that Bobi is with her.
Simone comes out and tells them that babyGirl Spencer will be fine.
Bobi comes and tells them they are having trouble controlling blood. The
doctors want to do a hysterectomy. Bobi tells them she might not make it
[yeah, right, like Gene Francis is really leaving the show]. Luke tells Lucky
not to seek revenge right now but to do what Laura would want them to do. The
two of them share a nice scene. [when did Luke get earrings?]
Tony comes back. Laura is in and out but she did recognize Tony. The two of
them have a philosophical, theoligical discussion.

Tony & Bobi meet in the lounge. Tony asks if she's been thinking of BJ. She
has been. They talk and cry about it. Tony really watches as Bobi leaves to
return to Laura's room.
