                           General Hospital Update
                            Tuesday, August 2 1994

Hmm, theme that runs through the show today seems to be '3rd degree'.

Sean,etc are yelling for Robin in the park. Fily starts to break up under the
strain. Someone finds something. It is Robin. They all hug each other
especially Robin and Stone. Tifany gets a call to get to work. Tifany kisses
Sean goodby and tells him to go easy on them but not too easy. Sean starts
giving it to Robin and Stone starts defending her. Like a total, stupid,
jerk, ass Stone starts arguing and giving Sean lip. Sean is really angry and
Fily manages to send Stone off. Sean eventually gets around to giving a
lecture to Robin. Robin misses the point (of why he and Tifany were upset)
and lashes back. Robin says she has had enough tradegy in her life and she
found someone in Stone who makes her feel good. Sean tries again and tells
her straight out that until she starts acting like an adult no one will treat
her as one (yeah).

Monica is getting the 3rd degree from *her* doctor's tech about missing her
apointments and the seriousness of the test. They go through the whole
mamagram [nice camera work]. Whie waiting for her 'ok' to get dressed, she
goes through a catalog which has lots of bouncy men and women. It was a weird
thing to be there and Monica comments on it. The dr needs more pictures to
get a clearer look. Monica is now past nervous. Next we see Monica waiting
for her results [do they come that fast?] and the tech comes in. The dr wants
to talk to her. Dr Winters tells her flat out there is a serious problem and
we hear very serious music [this was actually the last scene of the show].

L&L visit MaMay and ask about her feelings in taking down Councilman Blake.
She asks if they are asking how she feels about getting rid of a bad
politician or about embarassing a black man. The whole gang talk about the
political and racial ramifications. They will have a parlor tea meeting with
the Councilman and ambush him.

KatyBel comes to the Outbank for her lunch with Damien. They talk about the
project. Damien tells KatyBel not to even hint that Monica is anything but
Jason's real mother. Damien asks if she sent flowers to his room.

Bobi comes for her lunch meeting with Tony. They agree that the first one to
raise their voice loses :). Tony gives her the seperation papers, unsigned.
He asks if they should slow down or sign it and move on. Tony tells her that
at first he couldn't even stand her voice and that he tried to shut out all
feelings. He feels that he can't resolve things by himself. They start
talking too much and the meeting starts falling apart when Damien and KatyBel
walk in. Tony sees Bobi's expression, he reams Bobi and tells her:
                        L I N E   O F   T H E   D A Y
"You've made your bed and you've even slept in it. "
As Tony storms out, Bobi mutters 'Damn Damien Smith'. She then delivers
another bouquet of flowers. Going into a closet she takes out a tie and while
she smothers it she flashes back to her bed scene with Damien. She then goes
& finishes the scenery with champagne, negligie etc. and 'Not Disturb' sign.
Eventualy Damien comes in and sees the setup. [Come on Damien, you can't
figure out who's doing it?]

Jason comes to the Bradly house. He and Keisha sit on the stoop. They talk.
The councilman comes and starts getting his treatment. Tiffany comes in with
crew at hand. [Look, i know i'm the updater & that entails some responsibilty
to watch the show, but this scene was so obvious that i FF'ed to right
before the commercial. At that point they were giving him a hard time that
his kids went to a private school on the other side of town. Huh? gee how do
these people feel about Chelsea Clinton?] The Councilman gets embarased.
