Date: Sat, 30 Jul 1994 23:19:23 CDT From: U14780@uicvm.uic.edu Subject: GH: Update for Fri 07/29/94 GH Update for 07/29/94 By John R. Andrews, UIC Scene 1 Robin and Stone picnic by a campfire out in the woods. Scene 2 In the gatehouse over a home cooked dinner, Lois whines to Ned about Sonny and Miguel, while nearby Brenda struggles unsuccessfully to assemble some new sound equipment. Eventually, Ned leaves on business. Scene 3 Edward hurriedly calls a family meeting to consider executing Jason for collaborating with the enemy. Scene 4 Jason goes mano-a-mano with Edward. Katherine jumps in, but Monica verbally slaps her down. AJ subtly and indirectly brings up Keesha, but Jason holds his own. Ned tries to argue that ELQ helps the community. Again, Jason is steadfast in his commitment to fight the incinerator. Scene 5 Lois waxes romantic about her Eddie, while Brenda makes very subtle snide comments about him. Lois says the arrangement is fine with her and Eddie so she should butt out. They also discuss how to handle Sonny. Suddenly, Lois gets an idea. Scene 6 Tiffany ministers to an ailing Sean when they get a call from Will Green, the cop who talked to Sean before. He wants to see Sean again. Scene 7 Robin and Stone continue to enjoy the great outdoors; they talk about school and their respective future plans. Suddenly, gasp, they hear BIKERS and quickly pack up to leave. Scene 8 Monica defends Jason and threatens anyone who tries to muzzle him, pointedly directing her remarks to Katherine. Scene 9 Lois dances around as Sonny arrives. They discuss the good old days back in Bensenhurst and the people they knew. Lois goads him into singing "The Brooklyn Song." Scene 10 Ned and Katy hit the outdoor hot tub and discuss Monica. She tries to nuzzle him, but he rejects her feigning exhaustion. They begin to hear the strains of "The Brooklyn Song" wafting from the gatehouse, and Katy surmises that it's Lois and her new husband. Ned looks concerned and says no it's not; Kate picks up on his attitude. Scene 11 Ned continues to listen to the singers (he doesn't realize it's Sonny and Brenda). Katy says ignore it, but he gets out ostensibly to go quiet them down. Scene 12 Monica and Jason talk about his stance. She tells him she's proud, and despite the family's immediate reaction, they respect him now more than ever. Scene 13 The bikers "suggest" that Stone leave and Robin party with them. Stone tells her to run and proceeds to punch out several of them before they deck him. In the commotion Robin escapes. Scene 14 Sean and Tiffany talk about Robin and Mac. Tiff wonders about what Mac's problem is. Soon she gets a call about an explosion and heads out to cover the story. Scene 15 The bikers rob the unconscious Stone, but decide not to bother with Robin who by now has gotten lost running around. Scene 16 AJ quarrels with Monica and Jason. When Katy asks if anyone's seen Ned, Monica snaps, "If you can't keep track of your husband, don't ask us." Scene 17 Lois and Sonny continue to swap stories, then they teach Brenda the "secret stoop handshake" while Ned lurks outside. After Brenda and Sonny leave, Eddie returns to see Lois. When he asks who was singing, she says it was Sonny and playfully accuses him of being jealous. He admits to it and says he's staying the night (too bad Katy) regardless of the consequences. Scene 18 Stone awakens to find Robin missing and frantically calls out her name. She hears his voice, but as she runs towards him, clumsily and predictably she trips, rolls down a gully, and hits her head (of course) and gets knocked unconscious.
