                           General Hospital Update
                            Tuesday, July 26 1994

Before i begin, i checked out the opening montage. Justus & Keisha are in.
Unfortunately, the regular writers seem to back.

                                   Tif and Stiff

KatyBel walks into the den where N/Ed is looking over some papers. KatyBel
mentions bumping into Lois, who is common and someone else's problem now (in
reference to her singer husband). KatyBel also doesn't understand how Brenda
could be involved with Sonny.  KatyBel wants to do some night fun stuff and
go to the Outback to check out the band. N/Ed says can't, conference call.

Lucy is prancing around her apt and singing something waiting for her date.
She flashes back to a kiss with Kevin. Doorbell rings, its Damien. He wants
to take Lucy out to the Outback. Lucy tells Damien that he is no good for
her. She tells him Kevin is her guy. Damien challenges her, saying its the
competition with Fily that gets her. Eventulally Damien leaves.
Kevin comes by for the date. Lucy has a swatch for Kevin for a color to paint
some of his place. Kevin does a nice little spiel about extending the idea to
its ultimate, but Lucy doesn't catch on till he finishes. They sip champagne.

At the Outback, Felicia (who is not wearing something that loose) sees Mac
has a fascimile. She pesters, he tells her its from Scot. They batter around
a bit. Mac tells Fily he's going out of town.

Jason gives his spiel about enviorenmantal racism to the Chuck St. gang at
the Spencers. [This scene would've ok if it wasn't for the awful lines and
delivery by Lucky.] Knock on the door, the councilman is there to see Laura.
He wants Laura to keep an open mind, not to worry about "Groundless Fears".
Luke calls the shot that Laura will lose it about "Groundless Fears", she
does. Luke mentions he used to be mayor,  kicks out the councilman and
decides to join the fray. Laura says its just the oppurtunity to cause
trouble. He calls Tif, finds out she's at the Outback and decides to go.
Laura wont go. Luke jovially gets prepared. As Luara says, amazing how the
prospect of causing trouble brightens him up.

N/Ed drops by Lois. N/Ed asks about KatyBel's visit. Lois was not impressed.
She also didn't quite understand all KatyBel said, something about Lois
2timing with KatyBel's man. As Lois said
                       * L I N E   O F  T H E   D A Y *
"Like I would look twice at some guy who would marry a dead fish like that"
She goes on about this dumb Ned Ashton character. N/Ed looks like he
swallowed a CD player. They start making out.

AT THE OUTBACK:
Tif and Sean are enjoying dinner. Mac asks the 2 of them to have Robin over
while he is out of town. He tells Robin who is not happy at the news. She
wants to stay by herself (yeah, right). She starts bitching, Mac challenges
her to argue and fight for her points, she backs down.

KatyBel comes in and is accosted by Mac and Fily. They both play their hands
and Mac wins out. Kevin and Lucy are schmoozing when Luke walks in. They
chat, Luke asks if Lucy is planning anymore for his sister. Luke gets to Tif
and asks for copies of Councilman Grant's tax returns. Luke joins Sonny at
his table with Lois and Brenda. Damien comes in and invade Lucy & Kevin's
space. They joust for a bit. Lucy tells Damien she doesn't want to play with
Damien while Kevin is at the bar. Kevin tells Robin (Robin?!) he is not sure
what is going on between him and Lucy.

Damien is drinking a bit too much. He joins KatyBel and they are confronted
by Luke. Damien mentions that this was yet another threat made against by him
by someone. [foreshadowing anyone?]

Lois goes to check on Mig, who is very nervous. Sonny tells Brenda that Mig's
image is all wrong. The hair is too long. Brenda says he is beutiful. Mig
sings a love ballad and we flash back to him and his friend. He does okay and
we see N/Ed looking in through the window. Sonny looks over to where Mig is
getting congrads from L&B, did he see N/Ed?
