Who's Coming
Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) and Christian J. LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin): It’s a big week for Genoa City’s longest-running married duo celebrates the 20th anniversary of their wedding with a special episode that airs on Tuesday, December 9. That ceremony took place at the Colonnade Room, where the bride and groom were surrounded by friends and family — including Michael’s mother, Gloria (Judith Chapman), and Lauren’s mom, JoAnna (Susan Seaforth Hayes), as well as B&B fave Eric Forrester (John McCook), Lauren’s former lover. Bregman told Soap Opera Digest in 2012 that she even took home some special keepsakes from the taping. “During the vows, Lauren reads a letter that Michael had sent her. To this day, I have that letter in my makeup bag,” she confided. “I also still have the Godiva candy that says, ‘Michael And Lauren,December 9, 2005.'”
In Memoriam
Jonathan Farwell, who played the role of cunning George Rawlins on Y&R from 1988-99, passed away on December 6 at a hospice facility in Fort Collins, Colorado from complications arising from a broken hip, The Denver Gazette reported. The actor was 93. A native of Lansing, Michigan, he served with the U.S. Air Force and had an esteemed career in theater both before and after his time in Genoa City. In addition to his memorable role on Y&R — George’s wife, Cassandra (Nina Arvesen) had an affair with Paul (Doug Davidson), who was framed for George’s “murder” — the actor had short-term gigs on All My Children and Edge of Night.
