to the quote "The customer is always right"--very interesting! It's true about the customer's matter of taste...mostly. We have a reputation of "telling the truth" to our customers but if a customer really loves something and doesn't actually WANT an opinion, we'll generally not say "that's too tight"* or "that's not really your color".
* and speaking of entitled customers...I had another woman come in looking for pants and absolutely insisting she was a size 4. Uh, maybe she was 30 years ago but I was *positive* she was at least a double digit size. But I let her try on size 4 pants...and she eventually left with a pair of pants that were size 10 <g>.
