Rana Rustic Beef Sauce and Creamy Burrata Cheese Ravioli
I purchased this meal kit Sunday and made it Monday for dinner. While eating, we all thought the ravioli part was just ok and that the insides were kind of sweet. Then I found a chunk in the filling and it is VERY obviously shrimp. Luckily no one here is allergic!
I contacted the company and Costco, and so far have received two automated calls from Rana telling me that the product was recalled - first it was one telling me it was two sell by dates, and the second call said it had expanded to all sell by dates.
I haven't found anything online about it so there's no link to share yet. The sauce part (packaged separately) was really good, I don't know that I'd buy it again though since the shrimp pasta did not go well with it at all, lol.
Thankfully it looks like Rana is taking it seriously - when I first sent a message to Costco they told me I'd have to go to the store to get a refund and I was like I do not care about a refund, people could DIE. WTF.
